I'm a big fan of basil, but I grow some other herbs, too, that I also love like rosemary, lavender, lemon thyme, oregano and tarragon. I just made a pot of tea from fresh Oregano flowers that was deliciously spicy with a wonderful aroma.

i like rosemary, but when i can get it, saffron. it's so fragrant and powerful.
