I don’t hate overweight people. I just get really annoyed by overweight disgusting women that expect that male populace to be attracted to them, and call us shallow. Let me first state that being obese is unhealthy, and by far very unattractive. I almost lose my lunch every time I catch a glance of an obese woman trying to look sexy by wearing something skimpy. I know there are several reasons people are obese. Many of those reasons are just people justifying their own unhealthy state of being, some are valid though, i.e. medical problems. I have noticed some people have a food addiction. They need help, just as an alcoholic needs help, but ladies I must ask you would you date a man that you knew had an alcohol problem from the get go? To finish my lengthy response here I must say the following; Men are not shallow for thinking unhealthy, obese women are not attractive (Obesity results in health problems). They are only shallow if they think that Obese people are lesser then them, or not as good as anyone else as a person. When it comes to choosing a potential mate, for whom may bear/father their children every person has the right to choose a healthy mate. I really think our Politically correct society is creating this non-sense. Whatever happened to survival of the fittest? Please don’t whine about being overweight, get yourself healthy, and more then likely physically attractive, and more appealing to men. Everyone is of value, and important in their own way. I believe anyone who is unable to see the truth, or believes other people are beneath them are in serious need of a readjustment. Oh a 90lbs woman is not attractive/healthy, so I don’t agree with the Hollywood trend either.

I do not hate overweight people, I find them unattractive. It's a physical feature that I simply do not like. It's a matter of taste and it cannot be controlled. Given how many overweight women there are around these days, it sure would be nice to find that super ultra sexy, but it's just not meant to be.

Some men like overweight people, but MORE men like non-overweight people. The fact that they need love too is irrelevant. It's like saying on a college campus with 2 girls for every guy, that each guy should date 2 girls because the other girls need loving too. (okay, maybe that's a bad example, but you get the idea)

majority????? have you polled the MAJORITY of men and asked them if they hate over weight people??? I think not!!!! I hate no-one, except people who use vague terms because they have run into a FEW mean people and then generalize the rest of them. So, in answer to your question, it is the survival of the fittest theory. Most men are looking to continue the species of Mankind. Therefore they search for the best partner/partners to pass on the genes. Overweight people do not have desirable traits to be passed on. Sorry, about being so blunt, but I do not think men hate fat people. They just do not fall in love with them.

It's not just men. Actually, there are more overweight Men than Women. We take the brunt of the overweight jokes. The difference between men and women on the subject, is that when men talk about an overweight woman (or man) they tend to be a hell of alot louder about it. Women keep it in their own circles. So, men just make it more noticeable. But, either way, weither a man or a woman is making fun of someone's size, it just tends to show how ugly they are.

Because we have been influenced by the media with society's concept of beauty. It's not to say that all people love the skinny model type girl. I would still love them as my friend, but not as a girlfriend. =S

Because you have experienced the side of the male population that are shallow and think they deserve the world. Which we know they dont but ofcourse they think they do so they only look for whats on the outside not the inside. One day you will meet someone who will love you for you.

I don't know if they actually 'hate' them. But they do find it to be a complete turn-off and not pleasant to look at. That is just they way they're programmed, look at Playboy for instance, NEVER will you see a fat chick. Well, except for Carnie Wilson but she got in because she is a celeb.

Most over-weight people use excuses to justify their problem... low metabolism, family history, etc. They don't want to admit that they lack self-esteem and discipline.
