I think this is a tricky one as you have some men who go out for a pint and they literally do because they have to drive whereas other women have to incur the other type of man that says he is going for a pint when in actual fact he means about 8 or 9 which then leads onto him coming home when he said he wouldn't and also starts ranting and raving about something or the other and trips over things,etc. You get my drift! Anyway i think overall woman only mind it if the second option happens as if a woman was told im going to get plastered tonight it would be fine cause then you could tell them to sleep round a mates house so you dont have to put up with the effects of the alcohol but if a guy says hes going out for a pint and just has the one then i think the ladies should lay off a bit. So really what im trying to say is woman dont mind a guy going down the pub for a pint so long as it is just a pint and not the whole canester!

Well I reckon its because when most men say they are going for a pint its for an unspevified legnth of time and unlimited in take of beer which takes the woman out of the equasion until they return and sometimes beyond that if he gets in and falls asleep. I know cos i do it mines ok if say in going an hour before closing but if i start in afternoon the days gone with no benefit to her and nobody will put up with that.

i have no problem with it. most the time i go 2.

but another point is your asking why women hate men going to a pint but when the tables are turned and the women go out. men all of a sudden go funny about this and can be worse. i found this out myself and the same has happened with my mates. so it not just us women its you blokes aswell.

I absolutely hate the practice of men going to the pub and the wifies staying at home. I have experienced this and vowed never to do this again i.e. discussing children, and all women related problems which I would rather not hear about. Long live men and the pub - take me with you.!!!!!!!!! I would rather die a death of one hundred cuts than be left at home with the women. Men have the right idea and have had all along
