What amp should I buy? I need one that will push 2 L7 kickers.?

Or one, I mean if the amp is $1000, then Ill only put 1 L7 in. Or should I just keep my sub that I have currently and just buy a new amp? I have a 12" alpine Type R SWR. My amp is only 350 watts. And, I dont want one where I need a new alternator to put more charge.

If you can get your hands on an MTX1501D it would be perfect for two L7's, and since an older model you can get it for around $300.

L7's need quite abit of power. Like, 400-500 watts each, for the 10", 500-600 watts each for the 12", and at least 700 watts for the 15". That's all watts RMS, of course. That means that one is all you'll be able to have, unless you buy a bigger alternator.

Of course, one 12" L7 will give you as much sound as two lesser subs, and will sound good doing it. you can get a 2000 watt rms hifonics amp for 350 at most places. and to the girl that said a amp blew her subs NO either incorrect wiring, her turning the radio up too high or a improper box blew her subs. Amps dont kill subs, people with amps kill subs

well u should go ahead and keep the two alpines type r. they hit great if u would power them. the rms on those subs is around 500. so u arent getting enought power to your subs. get a new amp and u would be surprised. i have two 12 inch type r alpines powered by one hifonics amp
