I have heard numerous responses FROM CHRISTIANS saying "Jesus is not God", "God is Jesus' father,"" Jesus was God's Son" .
---wait a second, aren't we ALL God's children!?
Do fundies believe in the trinity, or is that just Catholicism? Or do they believe Jesus was a hybrid, half human, half God? Which would make sense since a diety supposedly inseminated a virgin mortal.
If you don't believe Jesus was God, then why the religion?
Why don't you say Jesus was just a 'prophet" of God, one of many -like the Muslims and the Jews call Jesus.
Didn't Jesus SAY he was God? Isn't THAT what eventually got him CRUCIFIED?????
Why are so many of you supposed "Christians" confused about what your religion is based on?

I''m not confused about what I believe. God is not an author of confusion therefore I know without a doubt that Jesus is God and that is what Christianity is all about which is Christ.

Churches are what is confusing. I'm a christian and I'm not confused at all. Confusion doesn't come from God. The holy trinity is God the 1st and the last , creator of all things. Jesus was God in the human form. Jesus was God's only begotten son. Which answers your question about were all God's children but as you stated Mary was impregnated and remained a virgin. That's what only BEGOTTEN son means. God because he loves mankind so much created Jesus to die for our sins. God came to earth in the form of human, Jesus. The holy spirit Jesus talks about this to his diciples. He is telling them I have to go away but I will send a comforter. The comforter is the Holy Spirit. God's spirit that dwells in christian heart's. They are 3 different entity's . They are also God in 3 different forms. The Holy Spirit is what give's christian's the joy we feel inside. The peace of mind that passes all comprehension. Seek and ye shall find. People can explain God to you in all kinds of ways. If you really want answers that your heart will know are true? You will have to have an open mind and an open heart. Talk directly to God. He already knows you. He knows the number of hair's on our head. Theres nothing you can hide from God. He knows your every thought. He loves us anyway. God knows our weaknesses and flaws , remember he took human form and was tempted by satan. Talk to God just as you would a close friend. Ask him questions he will show you things that will amaze you. Like how much he truly loves us all. You will come to know that he is the best friend you will ever have. I will keep you in my prayers and ask God to reveal his love to you. God Bless You. I hope I was some help in clearing up the confusion you feel. When we pray our hearts speak to God. When we read the Bible God speaks to our heart. To understand God the 2 have to go hand in hand.

Right on sister! There are many many Christians who don't know what they believe. Some have an excuse, they are young in their faith. Others with years under their belts have no excuse to hide their ignorance. They just haven't searched the scriptures to the degree that they need to understand what their faith is all about.

Jesus said; "I and the Father are one." John 10:30.

This very statement is what condemned him to death on the cross. But remember...He planned it that way. Religion killed Jesus. Not the Jew's or Romans.

Some say that he was talking in the "spiritual" sense. Well, Duh! Of course, but he was also speaking in the physical and eternal. That is what the Trinity is all about.
The trinity is the three characteristics of God. 1. Creator
2. Redeemer 3. Teacher

Religion is mans feeble attempt to reach God on his own power and strength.

Jesus fought fundamental religion at every opportunity. Read the book of John. It's full of his opposition to religion. He pissed off religion so bad that religion had him crucified.

Just look at the blind beggar at the pool. Religion was not helping him in the least but Jesus came along and proved that by restoring the mans sight, then told him to go to the priest for the proper signification of healing. What a slap in the face to religionists. So much so that they accused Jesus of healing on the Sabbath
.
What a crock!

They overlooked the miracle and an opportunity to praise God and instead condemned God (the Son) for his (blasphemous) action. They were telling God that He was wrong. Oops!

That's RELIGION for you.

Well I am a Christian, and I very much believe that Jesus is essentiually part of God. That's what the Trinity is about, the three who are separete yet the same being. And I know, it really doesn't make that much sense, it's something I don't think any of us will be able to understand atleast while living here on earth.
But scripture supports this. I can't remember where, but the Diciples were asking Jesus to show them the Father, and in reply Jesus basically said if they had known Him (Jesus), they had also known the Father.
And then John 10:30 plainly says "I and my Father are one".

God is the Father, He came in the form of a human (Jesus Christ) for us to understand and to teach us the way He wants us to live, then when He finished His work on the cross He ascended into heaven but left His Holy Spirit in all people when He left earth... all three is called the Trinity and it is as simple as that, Jesus had many names but they are all the same thing, it all goes right back to God, the human part of Jesus that is like us that represented sin is the son of God that was born from Mary, but the divine side of Jesus that is God is the Father, he was both. I t can be confusing if you make it that way...but essentially to get to God you go through Christ...he is who I pray to and look for guidance because it is the only form of God that I know that is within my comprehension...that's why God created Christ...just for us. God Bless You

Dont completely over analyze. The Lord is Father of ALL.

The trinity. the father the son and the holy spirit are all part of the Lord

The father the creator and nurturer
The son the human form put on earth
and the holy spirit to live in the hearts of those who chose to allow him in.

Jesus was crucified becasue in those days animals were sacrificed as a result of sin. The chosen son of God paid the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE for ALL of his brothers and sisters and gave his life for US! He covered us in his blood so that we may be forgiven for our sins because we are not perfect and Jesus was. The animals sacrificed in those days were the most pure from the herd. as is Jesus. We are all family we are all the children of the Lord as is Jesus. Jesus is our brother and also chosen by the Lord.

Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit and vice versa. It is almost impossible to explain but I dont feel confused because I accept what the Bible tells me. The way that I look at it is this: Humans have a mind, a body, and a soul. I believe it is similar with Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit. We are all Gods children and Jesus is like a mediator between us and God.

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ. The Bible states that I and my father are one. He is God in the flesh but so many religions go by what they believe and dont let the spirit of Jesus guide them. Religion is what the people make it you have to let the Lord Jesus show you the truth by letting His spirit speak to u and read the Bible and block out the worlds teachings

I don't know any Christians who say that Jesus is not God. He is. That's why we are called Christians. We are followers of Christ. Makes sense right? We are only God's Children if we accept his Son, Jesus, believe that he died for us, and ask him to forgive us. Jesus had human form and human feelings, yet he did not sin like the rest of us humans. Jesus is God! he is the second member of the trinity. I don't know why those other so-called Christians said that he wasn't God. I hope you understand this truth. Read the Bible. That will help you understand.

Spell out the first six letters of Christian. Jesus was the Christ, Son of God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. And why do you people all insist that Jesus was a prophet? He tells us "I came not to destroy man, but to save him. Therefore, I believe with all my heart and soul he is my Lord and Savior. I killed him just as sure as the Jews and Romans did. He died for me and for you too.

Christianity means Christ fallowers or in other words Jesus.

We believe that Jesus was God's son, died on the cross for our sin and rose again.

He was also God. He was God in flesh. We have three different forms of God...God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghoust...Spirit...it's that simple.

But what matters is that God loved us so much that he sent his son to death for our sins and also Jesus knew that he would die and still went on. Then he died for our sins and then rose again.

I hope that this enough. Find a local church if you need any more info.
