God says the bible is true and everything in the bible is true but what if he was lying when he said everything he says is true?

I do not care what you say, and I do not care what you will say, because I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our lord. The Bible is complete truth, and everything in it is truth. If the Bible wasn't true why are there so many Christians?

I don't believe that everything in the Bible is true. I do belive that God dictated what should be in the Bible but man wrote and translated the words. Things have a tendency to get lost in translation and people tend to twist things to suit their own purposes. Another reason I question the validity is the drastic differences between the Old Testament and the New Testament and the fact that parts of the gospels are missing. I could go on and on but I will spare everyone and my fingers.

The Bible is honest and factual in the information given. It records the words of evil men, Godly men, and even the Devil. But you'll agree that all that the Devil says is certainly not true.
A donkey, an eagle, and a snake spoke according to God's Book. Did you ever know an animal to lie?
Main point is this, you can try to find fault with God's Word, or you can accept it's message and be Saved.

what the bible says is true...because its inspired by god. Basically god told the writers what to write in it...and so the prophecies that were written in the bible have come true in the past. Then that shows what the bible says is the truth.

I believe that the Bible is 100% true because I believe in Jesus. Every thing that is in me tells me the Bible is true. Why else would so many people die willingly because of what is written the Bible, because they a faithful to God.
If it is all a lie, than many, many people have died being faithful to a lie.

in bible everything was true before but not anymore. the bible was revealed on a prophet that muslim believe in. the christian got the book and they changed all the words of god.

bible is the word of god and god is perfect, then the bible would have be true, if not, then god's not perfect, so then he wouldn't be god, wait, what's the question again? Oh, you just have to assume it's true (and you know what they say about people who assume)

Honestly... if I was Satan, I'd right the book of good and fill it with lies... then again, if I was God, I'd right the book of evil and fill it with truth.... either way, my religion isn't based around the bible, just making an answer based on personal observations and what I would do in the situation.

How do you know anything is true?
I suggest that you experiment with some basic things that are written in the Bible, such as Love your enemies as you do yourself and see what happens, then decide what is true.
