I think we should stick together and form a sort of group that responds to the insults made against islam in ways that shows our true nature, not through anger or returning the insults
i also think we should always stick to sources (which is hard i know) from Quran and Sunnah so as to answer some ot the questions (allegations) made about or against islam
please let's do something, it's our duty
so who's with me????

I am not a Muslim. I do however agree that there is a lot of odd and not well thought out questions stated against Muslims here. I try to remain open minded and to learn about things before I make strong statements for and against them. I also feel a lot of people here are way too sensative and defensive. I posted a question about the Qu'ran and got a very biassed response from somebody. Marianne if you are reading this I'd like to clarify that my comment about there being an infinite number of bibles was a vague explanation as into whether there were different versions of Qu'ran applying to Sunni or Shia as there are differences between Catholic and Jehovah Witness teachings. Anyway besides all that, maybe we should just band together so that we can help people be less biased and more open.

The planet is a fraglile place and needs an inclusive teaching. Man's biggest problem and question is about the inevitability of pain and suffering. If not in our own lives today, it is coming tomorrow. Meantime as we look around there is suffering everywhere.

Are Christians exempt from suffering ? Are Muslims ? We are all made of the same flesh and blood by the same God. This God does not protect only the Christians or Muslims when a jumbo jet crashes. Because God has no religion.

The world is in need of an inclusive faith or practice which offers salvation to all. Not only to someone who claims - I am a Muslim - my religion promises salvation only to Muslims OR I am a Christian and my religion promises salvation only to Christians.

If each religion takes this view is the world ever going to become a better place ?

A universal problem requires a universal solution.

If you are born a Muslim be a good Muslim. Work hard to change yourself and become a better and better Muslim. The same message for Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs etc. Remember if God had a religion he would not let anyone be born outside that religion.

Why don't you include non-muslims in that group too? There are many of us who support freedom of religion and universal tolerance to all people who seek spiritual enlightenment. When practiced with peace and tolerance it is not the label or the path we choose but the goal that matters. Remember, we are all spiritual beings having a very human experience. Support for others spiritual goals though they take a different path should be in everyone's heart. Everyone should disapprove of anger and insults against another religion.

Best wishes

You are all being led by false doctrine and a lie . The Holy Bible was made before the quran . Do you think your God would allow false doctrine to be written before his ? Wake up and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved . I am not here to insult you or bash you . I am bringing the truth to you . If you continue on the path you are on you will suffer the consequences for it . Revelation 21:8 . If you knew that you were in error , what would you do if it meant your very existence ? God bless you and your family

As a non-Muslim I'd say that your plan is a well meaning one. But do you really think the majority of people will believe what you say? However small the percentage of Muslim terrorist may be, their crimes against humanity are so horrific I doubt that you could persuade the pubic that your religion is based on peace. I'm about as open minded as they come yet I would have a problem believing anything taught to me by any Muslim. The insults to you are uncalled for, but so are the beheading of Innocent people in the Allah.

Jesus Christ loves you. i am sorry some people have said hurtful things.

Close your eyes and ask Jesus to show you his Love every night. Try and listen in silent and he will show you his mercy and Love.

God is a God of free will he will never force his love upon anyone my muslim friend!

It is my duty to tell you the good news that you are Loved by Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. He who died on the cross taking the sins and the pain of the whole world upon himself so that if we of our own free will follow him will inherit eternal life. Imagine mine and your sin and the whole worlds sin past, present and future upon your soul friend! Not even the greatest prophet could take that pain and agony even for a second - Only Jesus Christ Son of the Living God can.

He loves let him with your free will be loved by him who is Love itself! Your Muslim friends don't need to know if you are scared. Perfect Love cast out all fear.

1)Find a quite place were you are not disturbed - but even doing this on a train or bus is possible - people will just think you are sleeping.

2) Close Eyes

3)Say speak Lord your servent is listening.

4)Then listen in silence - if you become distracted say "Jesus I trust in you" Then listen again. Don't become disheartened if you find it hard to concentrate. Over time it will become easier. Do this for at least an hour every day always.

5)Over time you will become more loving, joyful, peaceful and virtuous.

Jesus LOVES you all Muslims

I got nothing against muslims. I don't know why people stereotype muslims as terrorists and crap. Those extremists just give muslims a bad name. I think this war and such is putting some bad ideas in the young fragile minds of people who are too ignorant to look at the big picture. Have a nice day!

I think thats' what I'm doing. You will find me answering questions asked about Islam. But I don't answer those which are asked to deliberately insult Islam. Insulting & making fun is really easy, it needs no wisdom or knowledge. And it is a weakness. Something which has fault in itself tries to find fault with others.

Well, it's not very important to answer all insults. It won't work for people who are blind, dumb & mute. And not all non-Muslims insult Islam. I found a significant number of non-Muslims here who don't like to attack Islam, rather dislike them who do that.

I'm with you all the way!!! We need to stop sitting on the sidelines, and stop being afraid of being pointed at for speaking out. Who cares! If you look at other cultures and religions, who have stood up against the masses, it's easy to see that it's not difficult to be respected, as long as you demand that respect. And not only that, but as muslims, we are the most populous group of people in the world besided Christians. Let's demand the equality and respect.

Great idea
but as some people say
يجب ان نعالج المرض وليس اعراض المرض
and thats mean
we must begin with our
muslim society first
cuz there is a FEW muslims
who DO NOT act like muslims at all
they made the whole world or most of it
think that we hate all non muslims
and we are terrorist.
