Fundamentalist Christianity teaches that evolution is a fabrication. But this is a clearly a lie since evolution happened. We have evidences for this in DNA evidence, fossils. We see virus evolution every few years, we even have plants that can't genetically mate with their ancestors. To deny evolution as a real mechanism is to deny the Earth is round. This is a lie.

So my question is about the fundamentalist Christian movement that claims that "God" made the Earth and the Homo Sapiens without intermediate animals. Is this a presentation of an alternate atheist theory? Since if there is a God, it is clear and obvious that he did intend/use the evolution of man from the first cell to my own conception. If I was even destined at all.

So this is my question, are those who tell me God made human without the use of the evolutionary mechaism presenting to me an alterate atheist theory, are they pawns of satan?

I think both evolutionists, and fundamentalists are distracted from the real issue. Survival of the Fittest is Evil! It is good for beasts, and lower life forms, but I CHOOSE to be a man. I was born a little bitty animal without teeth. If that were not so, I would have eaten my family, the dog, and anything I could get my hands on. That's the attitude of the Fittest.

I am not a Christian, fundamentalist or otherwise, but I have to agree that evolution has not been proven. All we really know is that biological changes have taken place over time, and these changes appear to be the result of adaptation to one's environment. Maybe God made these changes happen, maybe they were automatic. All we know for sure is that they happened. And keep in mind that if you believe in God, then you must accept that God created an environment for the life forms to adapt to, in which case He/She forsaw the entire evolutionary process before it unfolded, and the entire argument becomes moot.

At any rate, we're ALL just pawns of Satan.

You posted the other day that you never get respectful answers from Christians, maybe because you weren't one of them. You said, "maybe I should re-invent myself as a 'young, Catholic mother with small children' (or something to that effect).

jim darwin, you know this question is loaded and inflammatory. I believe you have a right to post it, too. But don't wonder why you receive answers that reflect your hostility when you do this.

OK, here's my answer....if you're still reading this and care.

I don't know how God did what He did. I don't know if His time line is a concept we can't understand with our human minds. Sometimes when I read the Revelation I think, "This has already happened.".....but we know it is still in our future somehow, someday, because our human time-line hasn't revealed it to us yet.

For some reason God will only let us approach Him with faith. That's it. That's all. He won't change the rules because He has already declared it in His word and He cannot lie.

If He did allow man to somehow "prove" His existence, then what would be the result? Man could never, ever be with Him, because then it would be knowledge.

I could go on all day but this is too long now. I would love to discuss anything regarding our differences if you want to. You seem so sincere.

I thought that fundamentalists said that you are to take everything written literally.
Do you really think Jesus meant if your eye hurt thee, rip it out.
If you foot hurt thee, cut it off.
I don't think so!
Too much time is being spent on evolution.
Consider:
Was anyone there when He did it?
An excerpt, " God said" let there be light" Big Bang and there was the brightest light that there has ever been.
If He used the Bang or the Bing or the boom, who cares. It's enough to know He did it.
So it is said He did it in 7 days. What is a day to God?
It is whatever He wants it to be.
He doesn't have to follow the pea brain ideas of the religious.
If you keep time by when the moon comes out and when the sun goes down, How come the sun and moon were created on the 4th. day. How was everyone keeping time before then?
Including Him if He uses the same time keeping as us?

What does God call it? Preach love too you? Lets see what God says, to do with you.

You have unbeliever's. Chaff, Scoffers.

An Atheist is a scoffer. The WORD of God, clearly tells you the filhty rags they are, and to stay away from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us, "You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according too God Himself. Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Paslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5) scoffers:(atheists) those who ridicule God and definatley reject His Law. Prov 1.:22 Ruth 1:22 Jer 18:7 (pull down-destroy) 1:10 (evil-calamity) 18:11

Pslams 1:
godly wisdom here, declare the final outcome of the two "ways". The paths of "sinners" (unbelievers) and the "way of the righteous. he speaks progressively of assoociation with the ungodly and participation in they're ungodly ways.

God said it. End of Story. Jesus Himself said "Let the dead bury they're dead".

Use all the Internet and Dictionaries they want to and call themselves anything they wish. God "defined" what they are by His own words.

They can hang a dog tag* around they're neck in the pits if hell itself and separate each other by name categorically.

God's Word said it. By God's definition. There is NO opinion.

Hate? Where do you get hate? If God's TRUTH is hate too you, then, so be it. You and God, can and will discuss the means of your sciptural interpretation, consisting with a man-made defacto on a motion of plea bargin I guess. I dunno.

Maayyybeee....
It may be some of the same Nazi propaganda Hitler used to bring a whole country down to bear on it's Jewish brethren...
I really shouldn't be answering this. I don't believe in satan. To believe in a thing is to give it power. This is why Atheism works. God is given no power over your life and you make what you can out of it. Satan is given no power, and cannot 'take you under his dark wing...' But those in power believe in such stupidity as satan, and maybe he'll be the scapegoat to blame when we blow this place up. How many times have you heard 'the devil made me do it'?

Neither. Fundamentalist Christians are children of the Lord Almighty and heirs to the New Jerusalem, and we are the bride of Christ.

It's a shame that bright people like you are forced to believe in evolution because all it is are a bunch of lies.

Well, they ain't atheists, but I understand your point, even if others won't.

Here it is worded differently.

Evolution exists. If God created the universe, then God created evolution. If you deny this fact, you are denying God's work and His will. Thus, you are not doing God's work and are against God.

I like the argument. But the people who need to hear this argument won't be listening... Or willing to hear...

Oh well.

They're not pawns of Satan, but they are enemies of truth, because they deny the primacy of reason and experience. Anyone who places a priori trust in an ancient text, rather than in reason and experience, is an enemy of truth.

There is no logic in your argument

There is NO evidence for evolution... it's just a theory just as creation is a theory... both take faith to believe
