im English and i was curious of what americans think of us in general

I cannot answer for ALL americans but myself. I rather like england and all of the people who live there. I don't know every single one but, I imagine that no matter where you go in england you are surrounded by different people with different ideas and different ways of expressing themselfs. Most americans can't find england on a map (which is sad) so for anyone to judge anyone by what country they are from is just plain silly.

Being English is fine, your a person. I can't speak for every American out there put I'm expectant of everyone.

I love you. I read everything I can get my hands on about the Royal Family. It's facinating. I especially loved Princess Diana, I think she was a wonderful person.

my only experience is with an English girl i used to work with here in the states. she is one of my best friends-would do anything in the world for anyone. i met her family-parents and older sister-and they welcomed me into their "fold" as if i was their long lost relative. so, my personal experiences with English people have shown them to be wonderful people.
