have done it before but would not recommend it unless someone who knows what they are doing is doing it for you

You really can't mess your hair up with L'oreal Colour Expert. The highlights are subtle, intended to be natural looking. If you want a skunky streaked look, or you want a bunch of different highlight colors (high and low lights or blond and red mixed), then you should probably go to a salon.

Not unless you have someone who knows what they are doing applying the color. I think it's best to get it done by a professional since highlights can really damage your hair and bad highlights can look realllly terrible.

I don't see why not. I have used a couple of them and they work great. Just make sure u have someone else doing it because they can see much better. Don't go to a salon and do it. It's the exact same thing just a lot more expensive.

Yeh go for it! Just make sure ur not using some cheap kind that will be bad for ur hair... Find a color that u like and a brand that u know others have used and do it. I have used l'oreal and rimmel which have both been good, use wht u like and have fun!

I guess so because you could save money, but if you want a good job done on your hair i would go to a salon.

I like Colour Expert by L'Oreal its the only one that's worked for me.

i would always go to a salon and get my hair done, because my sister did it a couple of time and her hair went completely dry, so i would go to a salon!!

no....just get it done because you can mess up.my sister tried and she messed up.then she dyed it regular brown.take my advice and don't highlight it yourself....get it done at a salon.
