If you are talking credit rating, it takes 7 years to clear it.

Depending on how bad it is, you might be able to do it earlier.

Anything is possible to those who believe! You can clean up your credit quickly. There are many agencies out there who will work with you in this awesome purchase. When I was ready to purchase a house - I had a lot to clean up but I had a good realtor who got me involved in First time buyers programs where I met others who were working hard just like me. We paid off debts, saved our money, worked with agencies and in less than a year - I was able to purchase a $96,000 home. Good luck to you.

Yes it is possible, if your debts are not to great and you can wait "pay them off then get the companies to take the bad record of your credit report"
If your debts are too big and you can't wait, Set up a fictious business, register with the irs and get a tax number, then sign up your business with a "Dun" number establish a business credit profile, and use that credit rating to buy real estate. take about 12 months and will cost you about $500. but then you don't need to use your personal credit file.
