hadn't stopped the first Chavez-Taylor fight in the final seconds and Taylor had hung on for the split decision victory, would his career not fallen apart the way it did? As brilliant as he was that night Taylor still took a bad beating.

I don't know if you have seen Meldrick Taylor via interviews since he "fell-off", but, he looks and sounds worst than Ali, Hearns and Frazier, combined. How could that be, you ask? Try getting caught time after time by big punches. You said it yourself, he toook a beating in that (Chavez) fight. Richard Steele is a bowl of crap, no doubt about it, however, all fighters, provided they fight long enough, will either win or lose a fight in which the referee plays judge and jury, both. It's a shame that Taylor lost that fight, but, then again, look at him now. He could ave used the Chavez/Steele fight as ammo. He should have rededicated himself, took a little time, worked on his defense, and, most of all he should have heeded the warning. Nah, too bone-headed , running out there with something to prove in, mind you, in more than one weight class. Idiotic! Hello Terry Norris, oh my, good night, Meldrick! Anyway, have a great day.
