The other day we were hanging out and she told me, out of nowhere, that noone would be dissapointed in me if I got prenant. And that noone was dissapointed that I dropped out of high school. Because they all expected me to be a dissapointment.. We were having a really good time, and then she just said that and I dont know what the hell happened?!!?

sometimes it's hard for some people to do what's right for their lives, while setting a good example, and see a person that they love do the wrong things. What do you do that makes your sister say things like that? When someone is doing things that are destructive for their lives - including drinking, taking drugs, having relationships with the opposite sex when they are too young - it makes people uncomfortable and disappointed at the same time. Take it from someone who has been down that road in the past; you think that you're not hurting anyone by doing things that are not good for you, but some time in the future, you'll have to decide what it is that you want. If you decide what you want to do is something that you feel is impossible, you're most likely not willing to put forth the effort to get there. When I was a teenager, I did everything under the sun that was bad for me... Now as a 33 year old mother, I am going to college because i wasted all the time that I had without a child, doing stupid things. My life will change because of my strong will, but make sure that you know why you are doing the things that would make your sister expect so little from you. If you're doing these things to prove you don't have to do anything you don't want to - you're wasting your time!! There will come a time when you will have nothing because of the choices you have made... That's no lie!

Seems like your sister has issues that may or may not involve you or your parents. You should read "The Dance of Anger" by Harriet Lerner, Ph.D. She talks about the dynamics of family and how to deal with difficult relationships with family members and more. Good luck!
