That depends what kind of guys is it?
If he is a handsome guy who have a lot of succes with other girl , he will not like that you are so direct because he will find you that you are an easy girl(personaly, I don't like this kind a girl)
If he is a timid guy(like my best-friend) he will prefer that you are direct because it's easuer for him.
Anyways both of us think that you must to show a little bit that you are interessed but not too much
