And do you miss them when you've broken up? (we had a 3yr relationship). i really miss him and would take him back even though he cheated, but he doesn't want anything to do with me. we had a really great relationship, very intimate and problem free.. i don't understand this. i sms him stuff like "i still love you and i miss you" etc. is this wrong of me?

SOME guys cheat because they only think of themselves and are assholes, they don't represent all of us. If he loves you, and he's a good guy, he wouldn't cheat. Personally I can't cheat, I wouldn't be able to do it, it would feel so wrong. I love my gf very much and I can't even imagine doing something like that and I know she never would either. I can't even find other girls very attractive because to me my gf is the most beautiful girl on earth. NOTHINGS WRONG WITH YOU, it's him that messed up and is messed up. don't trip, find a good guy

move on girl- if he cheated once ( which means caught once for any Number of actual times) he'll cheat again! especially if you are accepting that behavior.
The answer of why guys cheat on girls is the ONES that do are not committed. The guys that DON'T cheat are the ones you should seek. 3years obviously doesn't mean crap to this guy-
or you 'cut him off' entirely too much
& you can't do that, either.
