How do Indian People Cut Meat?

Okay, in India it is culturally unacceptable to use your left hand to shake a persons, eat, or do anything else that may come spread its "germs."

Indian people in business regard their left hand as their "dirty-hand."

How do they cut up meat? Are steaks, chicken, acceptable?

some hindu's do eat meat, especially those outside india, contrary to thought.

we use both hands to cut and prep any food including meat. we usually eat it with our right hand. however that old belief is become less and less prominant every day as the world modernizes.

You're talking about two different things; about which hand to use for what, about how to cut food.

Not only in India, but in all countries where forks and knives are not used at the table, meat and any other large objects are cut into bite-sized or smaller pieces before they are cooked.

This probably doesn't answer your question that well, but muslims can only eat meat that is HALAL, which means it must follow certain guidelines to be considered proper. These include:

An animal should not be dead prior to slaughter
A Muslim should perform slaughter
Aany flowing blood of the carcass should be completely drained
Choice of modern and in vogue method has to be considered with caution and, it should be mirroring to the Islamic ethos


Oh and they cannot eat pig

Indians (hindu) doesn't eat steak....Chicken, they use BOTH hands to cut/clean meat. they just use their right hand to eat with it.
