My dog did the same thing when we got a new puppy. I have 2 Jack Russell Terriers and the one was 7 when we got the puppy. She would stay as far away from it as possible and growl at her if she came near her. Just make sure you watch them when they are together(we crated the puppy when we left). Eventually the older dog got used to the puppy being around and plays with her all the time. She is actually protective of her now.

play with them equaly but it will take time for them to get used to each other,it could be a week 1 month it just depends, cats are worse than dogs when doing this,,just don't spend more time with the new puppy even though they need lots of attention, from what I have seen in the past the new one will make the other feel that its there own puppy,be carefull when it grows and they play together outside as they can destroy the backyard but the puppy will probally do the same inside for a while and when getting told off for that the other dog will feel like haha for a while till they get to know each other

You will have to show Terra preferential treatment. Give her food first, and then the other dog's second, things along that line. That's the only way she'll feel like her territory is no longer being threatened.
Incorporate both of them in the play, but try to show Terra more attention.

Invest in training!!!! That's the best thing for you to do if you can afford it. The older dog is trying to be dominant, and it needs to know who is boss....YOU! You have to give them time also. FOr instance, when you arrive home, give love to her first, then to the puppy. BUt seriously, training is the best way to keep a peaceful household.
