How long do you have to do it before you see results?

Pilates works great. But like with every other exercise, it takes a little while to see results, but I would say within the first 3 days you will be feeling better and more energetic and feeling better about yourself, and other people will see it too and say your looking great! Physical changes happen over time though. Usually within 3-6 weeks.

Pilates works yes ....you must however make sure you are doing it correctly...it'll take about three weeks for you to actually see any results this is of course if you are combining it with a good diet and if you are doing it on a regular basis a minimum of three times a week but preferably four to five times a week.
Tae Bo works wonders also....You should try it, I like it more than Pilates because I see faster results. Your *** will get tighter and upper, your thighs will harden up, your arms will get in tip top shape....from my experience it works great but pilates works great also...but the difference with tae bo is that it also gives you cardio so you lose weight also if that is what you are looking for.
