I read it on yahoo answers every day, that Jesus is Truth. If this were so, why isn't everyone following Jesus. Wouldn't the fact or the knowledge that this is the truth be so obvious that everyone on Earth would want to follow it. Why is it rejected

We don't always accept the truth when we hear it.
And sometimes, we don't want to hear it.

By the way, does this dress make me look fat?

John 7:7
[Jesus speaking to His disciples]
The world can't hate you, but it does hate me because I accuse it of sin and evil.

There you have it. The majority of people don't follow Jesus because, if they did, they would have to admit that they were wrong and He was right. And we all know that, after holding out for a long time, it's hard to admit that one is wrong about ANY matter, let alone something like this. A previous answerer said it was because of pride, and that is absolutely true. Of course, even though people outwardly may deny it, inwardly, many(not all, this is NOT a generalization) still wonder whether or not "those Christians" have the right idea. Why do you think the Religion and Spirituality section on YA is so crowded? Some people are honest, albeit anonymous seekers, while others are trying to make up for their curiosity (which, in their eyes, is a weakness) by being an "online bully", posting degrading questions/statements about Christians, or making harmful jokes about them. I'm not talking about "funny" jokes, I'm referencing the degrading ones that only the poster thinks are funny. Sure, Christians aren't the only ones assaulted online, but have you noticed, they are among the top targets? Hope this answers your question, and God bless!

Not everyone follows Jesus. Not even ALL CHRISTIANS. Most Christians follow the Bible rather than what Jesus said. Jesus was cool. If everyone tried to be more Christ-like, the world would be a better place.

A person needs faith to see the unseen.
We can see the physical creation, and there are numerous arguments about it.
We cannot see the spiritual creation, the new man , which is created in God's image, and we create Him and his Kingdom in our image, in imagination.
The physical man needs a creation to live in, which is temporary, a tent, so does the new man, who lives in a permanent creation.
The mediator between man and God is Christ Jesus, which is a body of people, founded by one , 2000 years ago - many failed before Him, .
Many are called , but few are chosen , because we have a choice, one of crucifixion of the old man.( our old ways )
To find the true Christ Jesus , is the challenge.Mankind is too busy building our own tin shacks, and neglecting the house of God.
This is the way i understand it, and i also believe that all churches do good work.

Each religion has specific claims about the truth, and none of them want to believe other religions are right. Nobody has proved that jesus lived or that any of the miracles or claims about his being a savior have merit. Just because something is in a book does not mean it is true.

Free will..
people are blinded to the truth..
Ask our Lord to help you understand His ways, and his wisdom.. ask for forgiveness for all your sins..
accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior..
Study the bible, and yes, use more than one translation if you wish.. just make sure there isn't the God our Father and Mother in it.. that is totally w.r.o.n.g.
Give yourself some time for God's words to touch your heart and spirit.. and know that quite a few friends and family members alike, will criticize for you for doing this.. That is just the way it is, sadly.

The 3 above sites will offer answers to your questions, and support you in your walk with our Lord.
Please, do not confuse support with $$$$, that is not what I mean.

What does God call it? Preach love too you? Lets see what God says, to do with you.

You have unbeliever's. Chaff, Scoffers.

An Atheist is a scoffer. The WORD of God, clearly tells you the filhty rags they are, and to stay away from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us, "You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according too God Himself. Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Paslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5) scoffers:(atheists) those who ridicule God and definatley reject His Law. Prov 1.:22 Ruth 1:22 Jer 18:7 (pull down-destroy) 1:10 (evil-calamity) 18:11

Pslams 1:
godly wisdom here, declare the final outcome of the two "ways". The paths of "sinners" (unbelievers) and the "way of the righteous. he speaks progressively of assoociation with the ungodly and participation in they're ungodly ways.

God said it. End of Story. Jesus Himself said "Let the dead bury they're dead".

Use all the Internet and Dictionaries they want to and call themselves anything they wish. God "defined" what they are by His own words.

They can hang a dog tag* around they're neck in the pits if hell itself and separate each other by name categorically.

God's Word said it. By God's definition. There is NO opinion.

Hate? Where do you get hate? If God's TRUTH is hate too you, then, so be it. You and God, can and will discuss the means of your sciptural interpretation, consisting with a man-made defacto on a motion of plea bargin I guess. I dunno.

Even some of Jesus' half brothers did not except him as the Christ. One later did.
Don't remember which one that was.
James, his half brother wrote the book of James.

That is just how it goes. And some will never see the truth.

Because Satan has blinded our hearts to see the Truth. He tells us lies for he doesn't want anyone to believe in Jesus. But God is more mightier than Satan. God has the ability to open our eyes to see him. We also have our sinful nature which is full of pride and self worth. We don't think that we need God's salvation, and do things all by ourselves. But we are totally wrong, we have been deceived by the devil. We need God's mercy and help to go through this life. Without him, what's life worth living for. Certainly not for yourself! I hope you understand now. But the perfect answer lies in the words of the Bible. If you are truly interested in this question look it in the Bible.

Jesus is one of the prophets of God and there is no doubt about it. However, he is not the last one. Mohammad is the last prophet sent by God in this universe. Like after Moses, Jesus came so those who believed in Moses had put their faith in Jesus. That does not mean that followers of Moses considered Moses no more the prophet of God or rejected him, but when God sent Jesus, followers of Moses became followers of Jesus and likewise after Jesus, Mohammad was sent as last prophet and so followers of Jesus are supposed to become followers of Mohammad, still considering the fact that Jesus is also one of the prophets sent by God and not rejecting him.
