most of them move farther north into texas get jobs no one else wants or will do if they are lucky and send money home to thier families, i personally think they should learn to speak the language and read our language but they also spend a lot of money here which is good too and at least pay sales tax,, if they stay they should at least get legalized as soon as they can...so they can pay federal taxes too

No Amnestry--deport illegals.
from www.fairus.org
Each year the Border Patrol makes more than a million apprehensions of aliens who flagrantly violate our nation's laws by unlawfully crossing U.S. borders. Such entry is a misdemeanor, but, if repeated, becomes punishable as a felony.
In addition to sneaking into the country (referred to as "entry without inspection — EWI") in violation of the immigration law, others enter with legal documentation and then violate the terms on which they have been admitted. The immigration authorities currently estimate that about two-thirds of all illegal immigrants are EWIs and the remainder is overstayers. Both types of illegal immigrants are deportable under Immigration and Nationality Act Section 237 (a)(1)(B) which says: "Any alien who is present in the United States in violation of this Act or any other law of the United States is deportable."

after 9/11, most americans looked at immigrants differently than before 9/11. sometimes i feel we have too many but then i see it differently. after all, some 150 years ago, america became strong because of many immigrants arrived in america. many of those were undocumented. but, realistically, being native american, all of you are immigrants. we were here before all others. we traveled between areas in relative peace & in good faith looking for the same thing people move today: good location, safety & security for family & self. well, you're here now. make the best of it. those undocumented immigrants who arrive daily, hopefully, won't do anything stupid to cause them shame. another way of looking at it is this: their presence on the shores of america is a left-handed compliment. they show us what we kind of forget-america is great. we were fortunate to be born here. we take for granted what others do not. gosh! i love this country, warts & all. immigrants remind me what i should've never forgotten (but did). when you're willing to die to come here also shows us what kind of mess their country is otherwise why would they come here, right? cheer up. it's all relative!

Those who are here should be permitted to stay if they pay a fine and go through an expedited naturalization process. As long as they haven't been criminals, pay taxes, take only a minimum of social services, and feel loyalty to their new country, I believe it is right and practical to eventually accept them as new Americans.
Those who want to come to America should be able to through a much simplified process. We should have open but monitored corridors for entry, to allow all who want to come to this country for the right reasons to do so without too much hassle.
Anyone who wants to immigrate outside of these easy channels should be immediately detained and imprisoned or deported.

I think all illegals should be deported with an application to enter the US legally. If they have established productive lives here, including learning ENGLISH, then put them on probation for a year to give them time to seek legal status. If they aren't making an effort to be productive or learn ENGLISH they go home.

I think we missed a huge opportunity to solve the problem. During the protests, we should have rounded them all up there and flew them out of the country. Its time for america to stand up for its citizens and protect them. If you want to come to america, do it the right way and pay your taxes.

They broke the law, simple as that.
They should go to jail or be deported.
If they want to come back LEGALLY that's OK but they have to wait in line like everyone else.
That's how it is in other countries, why should America be different.
