What are you going to do when we all get amnesty?

You are crazy if you think that this will not happen. We will get amnesty and be a big voting block. Then we will begin voting Mexicans in office. Wait and see. Who is going to stop us? If you could stop us, don't you think it would have happened by now?

Being that I am a legal immigrant to the USA, who happens to be in the last stages of a very lengthy process to become a permanent resident , I take great offense to your question (which seems to me more like a statement of sorts). It makes you arrogant as you obviously seem to expect special treatment for having come to this country illegaly. Just because throngs of people choose to disregard the laws of a country en masse does not make it right! Maybe if you so strongly believe that you can take over the States, you should focus your energies on making Mexico a place people don't want to leave!

My view as usual is not within any of the usual mainstream views.

Opinion doesn't matter. Laws don't matter.

It has been written that those who fail to understand history are doomed to repeat it. We are trying really hard to repeat the history of the slaves, and the Jewish people. Good job, dummies.

History shows that when a movement's time has come, it cannot be stopped. It can be slowed, but then there is a blood price to pay.

An example is slavery in the US. In 1789, most folks knew it was time to eliminate slavery, that it was not consistent with the principles of the new nation. But, there were people in the Southern colonies so lazy and spoiled, they did not even know how to put on their pants, that was the work of slaves. So, they resisted, and to form a nation, any nation at all, it was necessary to give them their own way.

Seventy six years later, the slaves were freed, but it cost over 500,000 lives to get it done.

It is time to let the Mexicans come in and do our s**t work. Seven milllion of them are here. Hannity says it isn't fair to those who applied and came in legally to let them walk in. Tough tittie.

if the 7 million who are here illegally, had applied for entrance in 1835 at the battle of the Alamo, at the rate we let them in, the last one would have entered in 1975, but that can't be since no one lives 140 years.

Several million of the illegals were brought in by their parents when they were small. They didn't ask to be brought here, but they were. They don't know anyone in Mexico, and they don't know how to earn a living there.

Do you honestly think that many millions of people are going to happily pack up and return to Mexico, leaving wives or husbands and children behind, in vain hope that the INS will accept their application (half who go back will never be allowed to return, and they all know it.)??

What I predict is large amounts of gunfire in the streets when our government tries to deport them from families and friends.

Hannity and Limbaugh claim this nation is strong, you have all heard their patriotic speeches. But, their attitudes towards illegals shows they really don't believe we are a strong nation,but a wimpy nation that will be harmed or destroyed by a few million Mexicans trying to find the American dream..

Those 11 million are already here.

Unlike most of you, I know illegals personally. I know them in the US, and I know them in their homes in Mexico. Most of the problems with illegals in the US is caused by the fact they are illegal. As such, it is hard for them to attend college; it is hard for them to get good jobs. It is hard for them to even associate with citizens. Bad things happen BECAUSE they are illegals.

it is like marijuana. It used to be a standard part of a doctor's bad. it has been consistently proven to be far less harmful than alcholic drinks. But, because hemp is illegal, you buy it from crooks, which means it gets deliberately contaminated with nasty stuff. And, of course, the biggest danger of pot is that you can go to jail for it.
