Gave away a medium sized purebred golden retriever through second chance pets or something like that from petsmarts program. They were not allowed to tell us who got him or anything like that. It is in the ohio area and his name was Biscuit. If anyone here is the one who got him i would like to know how he is doing?

It's awesome that you took the time to make sure that your dog got a good home. Lots of people just take them to the animal shelter where the majority of dogs are euthanized. Too many dogs, and not enough homes.
Most adoption programs like the one through Petsmart are fairly strict. They don't just give the dogs away to anyone. I'm sure that he got a really good home.
If the person who adopted your dog does use Yahoo, it's possible that they are afraid that you want the dog back. Just a thought...
I had to give a dog away to a friend, and she wouldn't let the dog out of her sight when I visited for fear that I would take the dog. I wouldn't have, but she became really attached to that dog.
