if that was happening any other time except for when you are drifting off to sleep...i would say that you should worry...but it is perfectly normal to have those thoughts and dreams...our minds are racing all the time...i don't know how old you are...but you could try a light sleeping aide to help you relax and quiet your mind...that's all it is...our minds are very powerful...sometimes i think we all lie in bed and listen to it...racing...going over the day...imagining things and what they would have been like if it had been different throughout the day...some people's minds race more than others...mine certainly does...and i have found it helpful to take an over the counter sleep aide at night...if i heard voices during the day in my awake hours...i would probably quit my own profession as a counselor...LOL...but trust me...you are NOT crazy...and you have nothing to worry about...take some Tylenol pm and get some rest...good luck

Nope. The process of falling asleep takes longer for some folks than it does others. As your mind begins to rest, having dreams is not unusual, and being a light sleeper can mix reality of the normal real world sounds around you with the dreams.

You're normal.

I'm no shrink but...............................

That is similar to me. I took Risperdal and Seroquel and got Psychotherapy, Play therapy and Group therapy. Now I have no medicine, no doctors and no therapy so I work with myself and others who I know face the same gift, and now Look who's dancin' me and my fellow friends! (others) even know it is still is the same as before. It will always be! Good luck!
Sometimes talking to people the same can help shrinks do not always understand cannot always be trusted and sometimes they just want money
