Its called a Caucasian Ovcharka. The Thunderhawk is the name of the kennel where they breed them.
I used to own one for 10 years. Let me tell you this dog was awsome. But it is not a dog for an inexperienced dog owner. I had a female that topped out at a weight of 160 pounds. Very protective over their owners !!!!! A great dog for the family, but very scary for strangers. No need to be scared with this dog around if you have it in the house.
The smartest dog I have ever had. Lots of hair, need lots of brushing. I would get another one in a heartbeat.

I'm just trying to figure out what a 'Thunderhawk-Caucasian' dog is.
Thunderhawk might be an Indian totem maybe from the Caucasus mountains in Russia.
