Sure. It is an organization that was started by Bishop CH MAson in Azuza Ca., in the early 1900's, I think, during a time when the area was experiencing a Pentecostal event. He penned "Yes Lord" a praise and worship song. I could be as wrong as anything, but they have n annual national convention in Memphis Tennessee in November. But what is your question? Yeah, I heard of it. So? Did you know that Martin Luther King Jr gave his last speech "Ive Been to the Mountain Top" At the Bishop CH Mason COGIC In Memphis? It was a very moving speech. He was assasinated the next day, April 4, 1968. Sigh. "...Well, I don't know what will happen now; we've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now, because I've been to the mountain top." Heart wrenching. More information: back in 1987, I recall askng Bishop Samuel L.Green Jr (A present national board member) what was the meaning of the symbol of a bundle of wheat gathered by a cord at its center. I was young then. He was holding a question and answer session at the Young Peoples Willing Workers (YPWW), and invited the congregation to ask aything they wanted to about the church, the building, and like things. He answered "The wheat symbolizes us, the Children of God, and the cord symbolizes the Lord of Hosts, who holds us together." (I hope i have done the man no injustice; that is what I think he said.)

this is basically an off shoot of the Pentacostal flow. the factors for heresy differences with each and each denomination. to illustrate in case you're no longer a Catholic, the Catholic church considers you a heretic. It incredibly does not count and the main suitable thank you to piss off your buddy is to meddle of their spirituality.

Yeah, there are about 8 different factions of that group. Most are Pentecostal, some are educated (pastors I mean). Most of them are okay-

COG- In Christ
COG-Anderson
COG-Cleveland
COG-Prophecy
COG-Jesus name Only
COG-Apostolic

There are several more-I can't remember.
