A nice plate of spaghetti is good, also peel-and-eat shrimp or crab legs help you keep your mind off the road during those long arduous road trips.

fruits or veggies. they are easy to prepare before leaving. i try to avoid salty snacks because they make you thirsty. and that means more bathroom breaks which can really add to your travel time.

I like bananas. Tasty, with quick energy. I'll drive 400 miles, tomorrow, and I'll have bananas and coffee with me!

Trail Mix...or dried fruit (apricots are great!!)
Don't have to keep 'em cold...they won't melt..and it's actually pretty healthy.
