With Mr Bush at the helm - what else would you expect? I think though that the West interferes too much with all of the situations. Let us get our own house in order before we try to do it to others. We can't even manage our own Health Service and get proper treatment for our own people! I believe that Nostradamus predicted that it would be the 'yellow people' that took over the world - maybe a racist remark but would you call Middle Easterners 'yellow'? Mind you, after the DaVinci Code I'm not at all sure that Nostradamus had any idea of what he was talking about. Yet another case of going up and reading your Bible - but also a case that humans are really such sad, greedy creatures. We can look to The Bible for the history - but it doesn't change the fact that the overwhelming force is greed - and I guess that the Bush Administration are possibly the greediest of the lot - for fame and notoriety if not for wealth.

Third world war started when Russia invaded Afganistan in the 1980s. Admittedly America did not help the situation. By funding Osama Bin Laden to form the Mujahudin into an attacking force supplying sphistcated weapory and millions of dollars. Their aim to bring down Russia a superpower. What the Americans unwittedly unleashed on the world was the Fundamentalist Muslim. And this war will last a long long time.

America doesn't but George Bush does. There's money to be made from war. Watch JFK the movie and listen to Donald Sutherland explain about that. Worst thing is, we Brits will get dragged in by the puppet on a string Tony Blair. It's some bad ****

I don't think most Americans want this but the people in power here have nearly unfettered control to make decisions that affect this situation. While no one nation is at fault for supporting what is happening in Isreal, nearly every large nation has some stake, overt or covert, in what is happening there. The nation most responsible, however, is Isreal, not the US.

The U.N. members that were kiled were killed because Hezbollah was using the position as cover.
It's called collateral damage, and it hapens in war.
Israel is not over agressive here any more than the U.K. was in defending itself from Germany in WWII.

This to me is a very interesting thought. What with Bush's Hippocritical stance on religious faith, maybe he is trying to be a pseudo prophet to bring about armageddon. Believing that he and his ilk will triumph and ascend to the kingdom of heaven. Camels and needles come to mind.
