Pres. of Iran has officially band certain words like "pizza", and "chat".... (and 1000 others). Yes, he has made it ILLEGAL to use them! There is actually an Iranian agency in charge of "language control"!! Believe it or not! This is what happens whem Islamic fundamentalism takes over governments!

This is the problem with any type of religion. Not just muslims. The Christians are just as brain washed.
I personally would flip them the bird and change religion, but hard core religious nuts just don't get it. They are happy being told what to do and what to think. Ever browse the Creationism/Evolution questions?

I think you are being blind to every other country. What would you call the changing of words to be "Politically Correct"? It's the same thing. So instead of a person being black they are "African American". Instead of fat or overweight, they are "Weight Challenged". Etc, etc, etc. I could go on with this list forever but I don't feel that it would be worthy of my time.
