I exercise regularly and I don't eat large meals. Lately after eating I have felt very lightheaded and extremely tired to the point that if I am sitting down I will fall asleep. Any ideas what this could be caused from?

You don't mention how old you are, but I know that this happens a lot with women who are approaching fifty or para-menopause. It can also be symptom of high blood pressure. You might want to consider going and having a physical. Just to be sure. It could simply be your body's reaction to a particular type of food, as that can change as we age, too.

Normal. All your blood is going from your head to your stomach to help digest the food. We're all "animals" and you can see this in a zoo after animals eat, they take a nap.

Now if you're so lightheaded that you may pass out/faint, then you may have a problem with your blood sugar and need to see a doctor as that means you may be a diabetic and need injections. See a Doctor if this is the case.

You need to go to your doctor and get checked out. It could just be something you are going through, but it could also be diabetes or a blood pressure problem. Also, there could be something you are eating that you are allergic to.

It depends on what you ate. You should seriously ask a doctor. I sometimes have that problem when I'm dehydrated. It is summer. Make sure you're drinking lot of water and energy drinks (Gatorade, Powerade...).

could be what you are eating. are you possibly anemic? food allergies? i'd recommend going to the dr. and getting a blood test. a CBC (complete blood count) and a blood profile to see what your potassium level...etc....is.
