Sex wasn't invented. To ask who invented sex would be like asking who invented life, death, or breathing or sleeping. Its part of life, part of what keeps life going.

No one invented it. It evolved as an advanced form of reproduction. Early cell life just made a copy of themselves to reproduce, eventually leading to DNA mutations. By two different creatures using their DNA to make a new being you get less genetic mutations. And as this is a successful form of reproduction loads of life on earth use it.
