Is hassleing with the porous toilet paper, and placing it on the seat really going to make the public toilet germ free while you sit? If it is than what are my chances now at contracting a germ.

a single paper is too thin.you have stack them up and put at least 5 pieces on the seat cover.there's a higher risk at contracting germs when people push the bathroom door open with their hands than on the seat cover because some people don't use soap or they neglect to wash their hands altogether.use a paper towel to push the door open instead.

ok well, i always put toilet paper down..because it definetely IS worth the hassle. it helps not contract any germs..but really, there is no way of being germ free..you're contracting germs even before you've REACHED the toilet.. even when you're on your own toilet.. if it bothers you either way..get little toilet cover packs.. i bought a couple of them when going on a short trip to washington.. they come in a pack of five in as small as a cellphone.

I don't use public toilets very often, but - when it's a 'have to', I squat, rather than sit --- no skin to toilet seat contact --- have never contracted a disease from germs this way.

Go to www.waxie.com they sell seat liners much easier than Toilet paper squares. You can probably buy a box and put a couple in your purse.
