Your sexuality is something beyond your control, whether you're born with it or aquire it as a result of your upbringing. What kind of God would create a child that was going to be damned forever because of something beyond their control?
You should read Leviticus again. There are some interesting parts. This, for example:
Leviticus 11:9-12 says:
9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
You keep to that one? How do you sow your seed? Do you wear woven fabrics? Have you ever sat on the same seat as a menstrating woman?

Boy what a question, neither you nor the scholars know.
Nor I, but I can give you a couple things to contemplate.
I was a sinner's sinner 20- 30 years ago: sex, power, money, drugs you name it but at that time mostly alcohol. I needed help and found it through prayer. I prayed for two years every day asking "if there is someone There please give me a sign... not LSD or levatation or anything far out where I could just explain it away by calling it delusional or hallucinatory., a real sign.
After 2 years I was told to pick up the bible, I fell to my Knees and opened Pslam 38 immediately. It was me! I was Soloman and I had wealth, power inebriation, sex intellectualism and had tried everything. I searched and searched. I finally came to ecclesiastes. basically Solamon saying I have tried everything in the world and the only recourse is to trust and obey God, prayer is and was my answer. Shakespeare was wise in saying :But above all else to thine own self be true..Its hauntingly interseting but Shakespeare is mortal like us. You will find what right ,it may be in you, it may be something you read, it may be prayer or it may be a gift for trying and someone praying or helpinig you. i find I am much happier giving then receiving. I couldn't tell whether I was a Jew for Jesus or a Catholic as I was raised. A wise man told me whatever Jesus was he certainly had a lot of great great things to say which we should listen to. Then I prayed to the Holy Spirit, Mary etc and found GRACE which I believe all religions aspire to. You will know it when you walk in the state of Grace. For me It is like the top of Maslows pyramid of "self - awareness"..It is euphoric and I have only been totally there a couple of times as I'm stil a sinner but getting better. Gays for the most part seem troubled sometimes, many don't. I am certainly not the one to judge..I really don't understand my feelings on them and have no opinion, it's not mine to ponder or judge. People Are people I believe it happens in nature and we are part of nature and the universe. You have a sense that will come out inside of you concerning right and wrong, you have a choice, pray to the higher being. The 12 step programs such as AA give insight into this, I have not stopped sinning but ask God for forgivenous ,it comes I try my best and am happier now than ever. I know continous prayer to a higher being is going to answer you. You don't have to lable the being such as the usual GOD, but a being made us. Great minds have pondered the thought and it can not be quantified, I find it can only be felt through practice. I believe in reincarnation and fate, you are here for a purpose, Don't get to caught up in man. he is generally material and as I. not very smart, put your faith in the Creator. I personally believe we are put here for a reason. Catholics call it pugatory, Others reincarnation, others one time around. Many great minds come to different conclusions so who are we to say. The philosopher Voltaire said if God didn't exist we would have to make him up-so who is Voltaire? Nitche thought God has died..who is Nitce, Einstein asked would God proll the dice on the universe- who is Einstein.. and on and on.. Keep seeking all your answers and you will find! I believe that Budda, Vishnu, Mohammed and Christ all seem to point to the Grace I have mentioned. The wisest is my 103 year old grandmother who has led a virtually perfect life and says believe in God, trust him, obey him and fear nothing. We are only men, we can not understand God but we can through our limited knowledge and prayer be able to see what is right and wrong. I think Spike Lee said DO THE RIGHT THING! Don't stop searching but man can not come up with a quantifiable answer. May the Creator bless you and show you the way. it seems you are on the right track but no one knows better than you right from wrong, keep looking and praying and it will appear. Bless you..

Since you are going by the book heres some others for you...Maybe you could help us out with
When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?
Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?
Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?
I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

This might come as a shock to you but there are people who don't care for what the bible or any religious book has to say on sexuality.I for one don't believe in your God and couldn't care less about your foolish remarks.I advice you to look at your own sins first cos you do seem to care.
I prefer to have my own values and not rely on old scriptures to justify my every action.I'd rather make my own mistakes than be a slave to dogma's.
I honestly enjoy thinking for myself, maybe you should give it a try instead of harassing people that you don't know and don't give a thing what you and your precious God believe.

You need to break it down to a more simple question and ask them one by one. Or read a book on different cultures. Don't take anything as solid law or course. Go with human interaction and life experience. Ancient books of any faith are full of holes and bias. Why do you think there are wars? Hate is the most evil emotion and faith based books are full of it. Go with living and getting to understand people and being a good person without looking at how they worship god.

When you come into the EARTH to be born, you can get messed-up in severaly way's Sexually (even Physically too), it's not their fault on that stuff.
King David planned and committed a "murder", but he was not a Muderer, King David killed thousand's of People in WAR, does that make him a Murderer?
King David chose to do this thing and he paid dearly for it later.
If a person place's a bet, that dosen't make him a Gambler.
If a person steal's something that dosen't make him a thief.
To do something once, twice or several time's dosen't necessarly make him that thing.
If you continue in it and become Professional in it, then the name stick's.
Hope this helps.

I don't have a particular opinion on this matter, but I think it was inconsiderate and unneccessary to mention such a touchy subject in your testimonial, calling it "sin". I don't care if it is or isn't. I don't mean to bit your head off.. but there you are.
After reading what everyone else wrote I'd like to add that you shouldn't get your head bit off and I'm sry for the hard time ur getting served. As I said, it's a very touchy subject.

No you are not born gay. You have no sexuality when you are born. You develop into it; who knows why.
You are not born a murderer. You become a murderer when you murder somebody.
