7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

Revelation 20:7-9 (New King James Version)

I'm sorry, I just don't think a globe has corners.

They never let me down! There are at at least 2 answers that say, more or less: "What's your problem? There ARE four corners." I like those folks. They stick to their guns even if they only fire blanks.

Those others crack me up with their "What it REALLY means is X." They have a saying in my country that goes: "Since the invention of excuses, no one has ever been wrong."

By the way, I see the vitamins are working.

PS. For all of you blowing the hot wind of the "compass" points: That doesn't makes its appearance until a centrury or two BCE, and that was in China.

Are you are correct about that?Have you ever thought about the
world having four directions N.S.E.W. and that could mean
the same thing as four corners. In other words when the whole
world N.S.E.W. or four corners of the earth come and surround
the Nation of Israel then God will devourer the enemy which will be
at the end of the millennial rein just before The Great White Throne
Judgment and times end. Rev 21:1 shows when time will be no

Standing on the four corners of the earth - This language is, of course, accommodated to the prevailing mode of speaking of the earth among the Hebrews. It was a common method among them to describe it as a vast plain, having four corners, those corners being the prominent points - north, south, east, and west. So we speak now of the four winds, the four quarters of the world, etc. The Hebrews spoke of the earth, as we do of the rising and setting of the sun and of the motions of the heavenly bodies, according to appearances, and without aiming at philosophical exactness. Compare the notes on Job_26:7. With this view they spoke of the earth as an extended plain, and as having boundaries or corners, as a plain or field naturally has. Perhaps, also, they used this language with some allusion to an edifice, as having four corners; for they speak also of the earth as having foundations. The language which the Hebrews used was in accordance with the prevailing ideas and language of the ancients on the subject.

Which are in the four quarters of the earth - Literally, corners of the earth, as if the earth were one extended square plain. The earth is usually spoken of as divided into four parts or quarters - the eastern, the western, the northern, and the southern. It is implied here that the deception or apostasy referred to would not be confined to one spot or portion of the world, but would extend afar. The idea seems to be, that during that period, though there would be a “general” prevalence of the gospel, and a “general” diffusion of its blessings, yet that the earth would not be entirely under its influence, and especially that the native character of the human heart would not be changed. Man, under powerful temptations, would be liable to be deluded by the great master spirit that has so often corrupted the race. Once more he would be permitted to make the trial, and then his power would forever come to an end.

No, your problem is you just don't think. You don't understand the context or meaning of the phrases you pull out. Please stop before you embarrass yourself further.

If you were standing at a single point on earth, say Jerusalem, you could say the four corners of the earth from the standpoint of North, South, East, and West from that location in Jerusalem.

Hello friend,
May I help you here?
Revelation is written in signs and symbols with literal applications as well. The passage you spoke of simply has to do with the 4 directions on our compass. Not that the earth is square.
Blessings,
2 Tim. 2:7

The author, St. John, probably didn't know the earth wasn't flat. He just means everyone from every nation. A lot of what is in Revelations was written to encourage early Christians, and they wouldn't have had a concept of the world as we know it.

the corners are not meant to be literal, the bible stated earlier that the Earth was round. It's merely a common expression (still used today) to mean the Earth in it's entirety.

Read something on other dimensions.
From Gods perspective the 3rd dimensions is like us looking at the 2nd dimension.
The earth would appear as flat as a pancake.

First of all, Revelations is not supposed to be taken literally. Secondly, even if it was, what difference does it make if the globe has corners or not...gee whiz! Why don't you use your time and energy concentrating on things that really matter.
