Cats, like other animals and humans, will eat things that they like, but the food isn't always good for them. According to my vet, and articles that I've read, most people food is not very good for cats. Some foods that your cat should definitely not eat are: chocolate (which can be very toxic, even fatal, to both cats and dogs), onions (which are also very toxic to cats), garlic, tomatoes, green (raw) potatoes, cherries, and mushrooms.

We recently adopted a 3 month old Kitten from the shelter. He is more dig than cat. Lol. One day we couldn't find him. We heard him meowing. He had jumped into our pantry where we jero honey buns, muffins, etc., at the bottom if the pantry we found him nose deep into the blueberry muffins. He had eaten 3 tops off the muffins. Since then, he sitiuates himself by the pantry. When the door opens he will dart in, snag a muffin and hightail it to a hiding place, rip the wrapper off and eat the muffin top. We can no longer leave baked goods on the counter or else it will be gone by morning. I've had cats all my life, but never had one with a sweet tooth. Lol

First, you can't use the words 'normal' and 'cat' in the same sentence. I recently had a friend pass away and he left me his cat, bringing my cat family to six. This cat eats spaghetti, waffles (with syrup), drinks coffee (if it has milk in it). Other than that, I had one that loved brownies (which I wouldn't let her eat because chocolate is bad for cats, but she didn't seem to care) and another who ate donuts.

They're all different, and there is absolutely nothing 'normal' about any of them. That's what makes cats so great!

Its not that odd at all, My cat loves popsicles and italian ice, he also eats tomatoes and lettuce too, and for some odd reason loves the taste of mustard and i give him mustard as a treat rather than cat treats.

Cats will like just about any food we eat but, that doesn't mean that we should give it to them. Those things you mentioned have alot of sugar and thats not good for them

Yeah it is, cats sometimes eat anything. Take my cat for example. He eat tomatoos, lettuce, chips, potato, carrot and more. He's nuts (and also likes to eat it).
