Sodas are the worst. They have more sugar than candy. Don't even drink diet soda. Drink water.
Stop eating so freakin much. Eat smaller portions. Stop eating all that mac & cheese, and burgers, and bisquits and gravy and crap like that.

What I had to do was start eating 4 meals a day, and snacking in between. I would have breakfast then go to school. In second class I had my teacher lest us eat so I would have a couple fruit cups or some yogurt or nuts or something, then have lunch, then last class my teacher lets us eat so I have another snack of whatever I didn't eat at lunch. Then after school I would eat until I was stuffed. Like I'd eat a LOT of food. Then a few hours later I would have dinner. Then after dinner if snack again. I find it's not really the food I eat that helps me gain weight, it's how much food I eat and how often I eat. I gained ten pounds in half a year doing this :P

yea, should totally avoid carbonated drinks and i guess it would be clever to cut down on alcohol too, in case u consume any.
i have been working out past 2 months on weight loss too. my usual day used to consist about 45 minutes of cardio ( treadmill or aerobics), i did yoga on alternate days too. after the main 45 min workout, i did 30 crunches and 30 leg lifts. I also did 30 each of leg press and leg lifts (the machines), did 30 squats and did some weight training. By doing this i lost 3 kilos. It seems like a huge list, but its small sessions of each. I went to the gym 6 days a week, so i think urs should be enough. DO NOT skip meals at all and eat say about 5 small meals each day... and snack on fruits and health food.
I stopped eating rice and pasta. Had everything only wholewheat and had 3 servings of fruits and veges each day and drank loads of water (lets say about 10 glasses a day). but i did reward myself with say an icecream or some snack once a week. But thats all.
i guess if you follow this consistently and eat healthy and do not stress about not decreasing on weight, it should help.
If the weighing machine doesnt show any change in ur weight, dont be disappointed, it didnt show any change for me until the second last week of the 2nd month. when ur working out, ur turning the fat into muscle which you want, and these muscles will help to burn your fat.
Its not exactly the fastest process, but if you keep at it, it'll bring in satisfying results for sure.

Acquire smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is a lot easier – those diminutive servings suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to eat less.
