yeah. Its usually fine, the only time it might be a problem is an international flight.

Some countries are very concerned w/fruits and vegetables entering/leaving the country. In those cases stick to snack crackers, chocolate, and generally non-perishable food items.

And don't pack regular silverware - a family member once made the mistake of trying to bring a metal butter knife to spread cream cheese on the bagels we brought. It was longer than the allowed length and they had to be reported to the government even though the knife had no edge. I always bring plastic now!

maybe its okay to bring food inside the plane as long as its not a smelly food. Because there are some foods that's really smells bad.For example Kimuchi and Durian candy. Its a tasty food but some people cant stand on the smell.

Yes, I always take a bottle of water and some small snacks on my flights, mostly to Japan. Having water is very important on long flights, so I don't just say it's okay to people, but suggest for people to take water with them.

Yes, they all allow food brought on board. But, it never hurts to show some courtesy to your fellow travelers and carry on food that isn't going to smell up the entire cabin.

I'm guessing, cause from what I've heard they charge now for drinks and I think snacks. People bring snacks through the checkpoint all the time
