obviously you people don't know how to read. the first article is about a christian church. all the child rape that happens through the kindercare pipeline is performed by PROTESTANTS! no wonder no one takes youre religion seriously when you are too stupid to read a couple articles and answer a few questions.

I could provide many more examples than those, of priests, ministers, and pastors molesting children, raping women, dealing drugs, and stealing funds from their own churches. Christianity provides the perfect medium for men with criminal tendencies, by giving them easy access to gullible people who are told to put their trust in these men completely. In other words, a guy who has the mentality to rape children will naturally be drawn to a church, where children are told to trust their pastors unquestioningly. Someone who is inclined to steal will find, in the church, the perfect opportunities to steal on a large scale, because who would mistrust their dearly beloved Pastor Joe, who is always so smiling and friendly and good to children? How could such a man funnel a hundred-grand into a Swiss bank account?

I just want to know, where is the Holy Spirit when children get raped? When a church has several hundred members all filled with the Holy Spirit, you would thing that at least ONE of them would receive a spiritual message from God telling them that their priest is a child-molesting monster and that they should call the police. This NEVER happens. It is only after many children have been abused, or several women raped, or someone gets suspicious about missing funds, that anything is ever done about it. Either God does not care, or he does not exist.

You can't judge a religion by it's leaders. Every group has people in it that doesn't represent the desires of the group as a whole. Most Orthodox religions promote good and well being to all, but like all large groups, a certain amount of rotten apples will get in.

Try looking at these religious groups through the ideals of Christ, and what He preached, and not but a few the actions of some sick perverts who grab the headlines.

(2) They can do it with nuns but in that case the sin will be double (adultery + abortion)

(3) It is a big help for those boys and their families as they can sue the church when they grow up and church pay them a handsome compensation

You are speaking of priests. They are catholic, not protestant. So many catholic priests are child molesters because they are not allowed to marry and experience a sexual relationship.Protestant clergy ARE permitted to marry, hence the fact that there is none or next to no cases of protestant child molesters within the church. Get your facts straight.

Do you think Satan would miss the chance of sending his followers in to the Christian churches to commit all kinds of atrocities so that Christians would be slandered? Too say all christians are child molestors is like saying AIDS only exists in gay communities. Neither is true, child molestors are everywhere, just like AIDS is everywhere. Jesus promised that He would build His church, and that the 'gates of hell' would not prevail against it.
Evidently, according to these and other stories of evil hidden in the church, hell is giving it one hell of a shot!
I am terribly saddened when I read stories about abused or molested children, in or out of the church.
I am saddened, also, that people who don't know Jesus or His disciples tend to judge us all by these few perverts.
