I have several Chagall lithographs that I would like to sell but I am not sure how much to sell them for. Where can I find out what a fair price would be?

The best way to price out your paintings is to contact your local auction house and they can do that for you try christies or sothebys or susanins. They sell a lot of work like that. You have to take in consideration that the shape size and time of life of the artist and the painting is taken in consideration when pricing the work.

First, are you sure they are real Chagalls or just copies, just reproductions?

If they are real Chagalls and this can be validated then they're worth a great deal of money.

Where do you live? Most larger American cities have legit art appraisers who will authenticate your lithos for you and sometimes they'll even connect you with possible buyers, for a small fee.

Have you tried looking for the artist by name on the internet. I sometimes find prints (signed and numbered) or paintings and use the internet to figure out what it may be worth, and if I should by buy it or not ,or how much i should sell it for.
