Here are the basic priniciples of war in Islam:
1. As we mentioned before, war has to be in self-defense and in support of justice and freedom from oppression.
2. It must not be waged randomly or with indiscrimination. It must be legitimate and precise.
3. It must aim at establishing peace and justice. Peace in Islam is the norm, while war is the exception.
4. War in Islam is meant for defending the oppressed and not to revenge from the oppressor. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) set the best example for this principle. Though he was expelled by his own people and was put to torture for so many years, he forgave the very people who used to oppress him and chastise his companions.
5. Even at the time of war, the Muslim should never lose hope in peace and reconciliation. A Muslim should never go very far in furthering enmity. This is a lesson that we learn from verse 7 from Surat al-Mutahinah: "It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies. For Allah has power (over all things); And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Women captives of war:
As far as the Islamic ethics of war are concerned, women are not to be targeted except if they participate in the actual fighting. According to the authentic hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a woman killed in a battle. He got very furious and said: "This lady would have not been a fighter!"
Allah says in the Qur'an: "And why should you not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!" (An-Nisa': 75)
Rape is an abhorrent crime and an abominable sin. This heinous crime is forbidden not only in Islam but in all religions, and all people of sound thinking and pure human nature reject it.
Responding to the question, the prominent Saudi Islamic lecturer and author Sheikh Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjid states the following:
The Arabic word ightisab (rape) refers to taking something wrongfully by force. It is now used exclusively to refer to transgression against the honor of women by force.
This is an abhorrent crime that is forbidden in all religions and in the minds of all wise people and those who possess sound human nature. All earthly systems and laws regard this action as abhorrent and impose the strictest penalties on it.
Islam has a clear stance which states that this repugnant action is haram (forbidden) and imposes a deterrent punishment on the one who commits it.
Islam closes the door to the criminal who wants to commit this crime. Western studies have shown that most rapists are already criminals who commit their crimes under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and they take advantage of the fact that their victims are walking alone in isolated places or staying in the house alone. These studies also show that what the criminals watch on the media and the semi-naked styles of dress in which women go out also lead to the commission of this reprehensible crime.
The laws of Islam came to protect women’s honor and modesty. Islam forbids women to wear clothes that are not modest. In addition, Islam encourages young men and women to marry early, and many other rulings that close the door before rape and other crimes. Hence it comes as no surprise when we hear or read that most of these crimes occur in permissive societies, which are looked up to by some Muslims as examples of civilization and refinement! It is worth mentioning here that in America , for example, Amnesty International stated in a 2004 report entitled “Stop Violence Against Women” that every 90 seconds a woman was raped during that year.
The punishment for rape in Islam is the same as the punishment for zina (adultery or fornication), which is stoning if the perpetrator is married, and one hundred lashes and banishment for one year if he is not married.
Moreover, Ibn `Abdul-Barr (may Allah bless his soul) said
The scholars are unanimously agreed that the rapist is to be subjected to the hadd punishment if there is clear evidence against him that he deserves the hadd punishment, or if he admits to that. Otherwise, he is to be punished (that is, if there is no proof that the hadd punishment for zina may be carried out against him because he does not confess and there are not four witnesses, then the judge may punish him and stipulate a punishment that will deter him and others like him). There is no punishment for the woman if it is true that he forced her and overpowered her. (Al-Istidhkaar, 7/146).
In addition, the rapist is subject to the hadd punishment for zina, even if the rape was not carried out at knifepoint or gunpoint. If the use of a weapon was threatened, then he is a muharib, and is to be subjected to the hadd punishment described in the verse in which Allah says (The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off from opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter) (Al-Ma’idah 5:33).
So the judge has the choice of the four punishments mentioned in this verse and may choose whichever he thinks is most suitable to attain the objective, which is to spread peace and security in society, and ward off evildoers and aggressors.

What is the whole purpose to multiply and subdue the world. You should know this one thing, yes selecting a woman to marry has nothing to do with religion; but religion has got something to do with marriage. In this there are people who are to have children and some not. It is not discrimination but just a realisation and a point og reasoning. You are getting this too far my friend, Prophet Muhammed was just a messenger of God, things which he didn't have say or things which are are not wrote in the Holy Book are still hidden to mankind.

Which verse of Qur'an says to rape women?
I really don't believe and follow Bukhari Daoud or Sahih Muslim Tarmidhy hadiths. If there are any hadith where it says to rape women is a lie. Muslims did not invade countries. During the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) time they fight the wars to defend themselves from Pagans.

No...No... That is not correct. It's a fake fact. It's NOT allowed to have sex with anyone if you are not married and especially not married women. Islam is very clear about that. There has been several book that tries to spread a bad picture about Islam and Mohammed.
Without marriage no sex, and in order to marry a woman she has to say Yes either way the marriage is illegal and she must be unmarried, divorced or a widow.
It's very clear in Islam that rapists should be killed no matter who this person is.

Yes, for the cause of Allah/Islam jihadists can take the spoils of war. According to Muhammed anyway. You can even make false treaties or say peace, peace deceptively or falsly accuse for the cause of Islam/Allah. You can discern this jihad practice happening right now. It is mentioned in books on Muhammed & Islam.
To understand the Islamic terrorist jihad practices, just read some of their books.

4:23 ::Forbidden unto you are your mothers, and your daughters, and your sisters, and your father's sisters, and your mother's sisters, and your brother's daughters and your sister's daughters, and your foster-mothers, and your foster-sisters, and your mothers-in-law, and your step-daughters who are under your protection (born) of your women unto whom ye have gone in - but if ye have not gone in unto them, then it is no sin for you (to marry their daughters) - and the wives of your sons who (spring) from your own loins. And (it is forbidden unto you) that ye should have two sisters together, except what hath already happened (of that nature) in the past. Lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
4:25 ::And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess. It is a decree of Allah for you. Lawful unto you are all beyond those mentioned, so that ye seek them with your wealth in honest wedlock, not debauchery. And those of whom ye seek content (by marrying them), give unto them their portions as a duty. And there is no sin for you in what ye do by mutual agreement after the duty (hath been done). Lo! Allah is ever Knower, Wise.
this verse was mentioned about enslaved women which were owned by other people.. no woman was raped but at that time, if the enemy takes muslim women as slaves then muslims, in return, take those women as slaves. that was the law at the time. and when a woman is enslaved (either by muslims or non muslims) then her owner had the right to perform sexual intercourse with her (according to the laws)
i.e. now if there was a war and women were taken captive they would be prisoners of war not slaves because the times have changed, no one would be bought, sold or raped.. islam definitely doesnt allow that
and btw.. when quoting some words from Quran dont say Muhammad (PBUH) prohibited it or not because these are the words of God not Muhamad (PBUH)
the words of Muhammad are either Sunnah or Hadith

If that is indeed what it says, then how can Muhammed be praised by Muslims? What God, Idol, Prophet or whatever else you want to call it, be followed when they condone such horrible acts?
