Depends how depressed they are... or if they're just partying!
Just kidding! I supposed whenever they're thirsty! They're probably all different, just like us. Some drink a lot of water, some not. Some take long visits at the watering hole, some many quick sips throughout the day.

IF its a hot day they would probably drink water more than ten times. Make sure there water is clean.If your bird is still hot spray the love bird.

Constantly but in very small amounts. You might not notice much but they need to drink eat and poop constantly. It all relates to their ability to fly.

They drink nectar alot during the day.They use alot of energy flying.

Wenever there thirsty. just make sur they have fresh water all the time.
