Be proud that you are a very good wife and you are doing exactly what God asked of wives in the Bible. Not many women care for their husbands these days like you are doing for yours. Be proud. Be extremley proud. =)

I don't think that the people on here are following your questions, but I am. I know what you are saying. I read your last question, so instead of answering it first, I went back to your first question and answered it first and now this one.

You do need to talk to him about how you feel about the way things are and see if he will help you out some, if not just do like I suggested in the first answer, stop doing some of the stuff for him. What is happening, is he is taking you for granted. He needs to d stuff for you as well, to make you feel wanted and loved.

You do have one thing to be very grate full for and that is at least he does take you with him when he goes to visit his friends. And I assume that he don't go off to the bars and what have you like some of the men do. Just try talking to him about how you feel and see what happens.

I don't think you are completely happy with your life or you wouldn't be posting this. By all means don't give up your own individuality. You can be a good partner and keep the home clean and meals prepared but don't let him come to take you for granted. By what you have listed, I am afraid that is too late. If he really loves you, he will offer to pull his share around the home.

Old school sounds good to me.only diff is my old school, the man does the outside work not just the 8 hr a day at a time clock thing, but anything heavy and that has to do with outside work at home also.

i mean, who asked for this FYI! i don't think its a question here if your happy with where you re at! here's wishing you a long and happy marriage. and by the way, that's not old school! you re defined as a stay at home wife! from an old school, that works , cooks meals, raised two kids and one to go. cuts grass, pay bills and still a freak in the bedroom!

You need to get out more. This is where you ask a question not do a monologue.

You just kind of rambled on there and then petered out. Did the Alzheimer's kick in or what?

The question you need to ask yourself is, are you happy with this life? Is there more that you want to do then be a simple house wife?

This is 2006, you are allowed to have a job, if you so choose to have one.

I hope you have some way of keeping him interested in this relationship. Do you plan exotic vacations or spend lots of money to look good?

Otherwise, you will become boring in about six months from now.

It is fine as long as you and he are happy. Thats what makes marriages work. Glad to see a wife who loves her hubby as much as you do.
