He is a Jew hater and even his Jesus flick shows that. It's a shame cuz I used to love him in so many ways but I don't have tolerance for ignorance.

Oh but he is sorry!!!

Hmmm. The jesus flick is just one long anti-semetic remark, imho.

Perhaps you are confusing the actor's PR efforts with the real person. This confusion is what keeps celebrities so popular.

I don't pay any attention to any of the press about any of 'em.

Mel Gibson is not Jesus, therefore, he sins like the rest of us. He struggles with alcoholism, and has apologized for what happened. As for the anti-Semitic remarks, he contends that his words were misconstrued. I figure I will let someone else judge him.

Because he is human too and not any more wonderful or perfect than others in the world. He has admitted he has a drinking problem and apologized for any remarks made.

because he's not as wonderful as you would think...

just because someone is religious and made a film about jesus doesn't mean that person isn't anti-semitic and doesn't drink. i mean, mel gibson's father doesn't believe the holocaust ever happened. see where he gets it?

most people aren't what they are cracked up to be.

Alcohol makes people do very stupid things. He's been fighting alcohol abuse his entire adult life and had way too much to drink.

I think he's sincere in his apology, but this will definitely cause him problems, especially trying to live down his remarks.

Alcohol is not, in itself, a bad thing ... but when you over-do it ... it's very, very bad.
