Don't remember everything you gotta do-write it down on a sheet of paper or in a planner. Keep your racing thoughts slow by relaxing and knowing its OK to forget some stuff. Don't worry about your busy week, the more you do, the more you're most likely to forget something.

I have been having the same thing happen to me for the last several years (no old people jokes, please. I am only 34 and it is not the years anyway, it's the mileage). My saving grace has been my PDA. If you don't have one of those, though, you can also use a day planner or just a notebook. The trick with the notebook or planner is remembering to consult it. With the PDA, I can set up alarms or reminders. This has made me a lot more effective in both my work and personal lives.
As far as the effect forgetting things has on my mood, it is simply because I am frustrated by forgetting things (which I still do on occasion; even with the PDA, I don't always remember to write everything in it). This leads to confusion and worry as well. In my experience, being able to write things down and remember more has greatly reduced these feelings (a few months ago it was so bad, I thought I might lose my job) and I am much better able to function. If you are able to find a solution that helps you remember more but still have these feelings, I would suggest you seek counseling from someone who specializes in memory loss.
May God bless and keep you.

Whoa, That MUST be some kinda malfunctioning squirrel problem. Take a break, watch educational TV, don't pay attention to what the narrator is saying. That worked for me. Gets the squirrels to settle down and go back to turning the wheels in Ur head.

Have you discussed this with a good psychologist? Have you been to your doctor? Quick, write this down on a yellow sticky and otherwise do what you have to do to remember this:
"I will go see a doctor about my racing thoughts and mood swings."
I wish you the best of good health and serenity.

Make a list of everything you need to accomplish and cross them off as yu complete them. That way, you won't forget to do something and you won't get into a low mood because you forgot to do it. Each night, review your list to make sure you have everything on it that you need to accomplish.

Hi, the best way to remember things is write it down!! Then as soon as you do the task you have written down, cross it off on the list!! Another thing to do to clear your mind is meditate. What works for me is to pick on spot on the ceiling and keep focusing on it, keep saying one word, if your mind starts to wonder off, get back to the spot on the ceiling and the word....Good luck!!!

Sometimes I get really busy and I find it helpful to make myself notes...I know this sounds simple but sometimes simple is the best answer. Spend a dollar on a small notebook.

Get a dayplanner and write things down. That way you can free up your mind from trying to remember and you can look at your dayplanner and see the list of things you need to do.

Make a daily To-Do list. Scratch off the things you've done and add more as you think of them. Pretty easy thing to do.
