many christians consider rock and roll, hip hop, and sometimes, jazz- music of the devil. this suggests that satan listens to stuff like jimi hendrix, slayer(obviously), kool keith, primus, critters buggin, miles davis, and all sorts of other great music.

so, if they listen to the above music in hell, and in heaven, they're listening to P.O.D., Creed, MxPx, DC Talk, Tamplin, etc.- who the f*ck wants to go to heaven?

I'm old enough to remember when Christians insisted that KISS was the rock group from hell and anyone who listened to their music would become Satan-worshippers. Also, "Dungeons & Dragons" would cause children to sacrifice babies to the devil. Oh, and of course Harry Potter is all about witchcraft and magic, too. Heaven is going to be mighty boring. The only music will be traditional hymns and Stryper, the only movies will be G-rated cartoons, and the only game will be Candy Land. F*** that, I would take hell any day, if I believed it actually existed.

I will keep this short and to the point.

Heaven is where God is and hell is where he is not. Earth is where man is. The goal is for man to get to God.

Man is body, soul and spirit. Dance and music are expressions of man, man as all three. God judges not man, and I don't recall anything that God has revealed (for me in the Christian bible) that deals with present music trends.

Now here is a fact: One day you will die and how you live your life is yours. It would be nice if you understood the book you so easily misquote. Stop letting others decide for what you believe, take off your headset and see what you really believe.

Hell is where God is not. Do you really want to reside there? You will not find the music you listen to? Put on your headset and see what you will be missing.

You are wrong when you say that many Christians consider those types of music to be of the devil. I believe that there is going to be a wider mix of music in Heaven than you think there is.

If you listen to them you're a followerof Satan.
In hell you get tortured.
If you like the music you won't get to listen.

There's the 'logic'!

What makes you think you will be allowed to listen any music in hell. Maybe that is part of what makes it hell!

Boy are you in the dark. Why would God be limited in His love or His Understanding of any kind of Musician. I think that God would definitely ban many songs but not every expression of the beauty of music and poetry is wrong just because the person sinned in other areas. I'm sure 50 cent has one song somewhere, that is not morally reprehensable........somewhere......
.anyone....Bueller?

Hell is where the good music, hot chicks, booze, and freethinkers go. Doesn't sound so bad to me.
