Every other religion sees JC as a prophet & no more the son of God than myself. Perhaps this is the real truth.

This is a simple but understandable misinterpertation of scripture.
It has a lot less to do whith the christian view of Jesus, than it has to do with their view of everyone else.

Jesus did refer to him self as the Son of God. This part has been highly publicized by the Christian faith for centuries because it fit in well with their agenda of control. It worked well when used to make people guilty about the so-called only Son of God who died for our sins.

Problem with this idea is that this was not the way Jesus described the situation. Jesus stated the kingdom of God is within you. Meaning that the spirit part of us comes from God. In Jesus’’ comments he obviously thought of each of us being as an actual part of God. He recognized that all men are children or sons of God. He also did not ever see himself as being any sort of an exception to this rule. He never spoke in a way that made him sound like any more of a part of God than anyone else.

This part of Jesus’ teachings has never gotten the exposure from the Christian faith, because it elevates the rest of us to a much higher level than Christianity has us framed as. Christianity loves telling people that they are hopeless sinners. Having once actually thought of your self in the true way that Jesus taught make it hard to ever go back to the hopeless sinner idea.

You are also a true Son of God. Jesus never intended that this idea be used exclusively to describe him alone. He always intended that all of us see ourselves that way and act accordingly. That is treating all others as though they too were Valuable parts of God also. This idea has been ignored because it was not seen as a good thing to allow people to see themselves as being on a level of equality with Jesus in Gods eyes.

If you have been told these scriptural misinterpretations of Jesus’ words were true your whole life this probably seems sacrilegious. Still if you study the things that Jesus himself was supposed to have actually said it becomes more than clear that he saw himself as the brother of all men.

If he was right about this, and in my heart I believe the things that he said are true, then only one conclusion can be drawn.

If Jesus is the Son of God, and he saw himself as your brother then whom exactly is Jesus saying that your father is.

Love and blessings.

i do not count on Jesus for 2 major motives. a million) because there is not any historic evidence that develop into recorded for the period of his lifetime that mentions his existence. each and every thing we've about Jesus got here about years after his meant lack of existence. This ends up in reason 2) because the tale of Jesus is an glaring reproduction of a few diverse guy-gods (mithras, osiris, and so on.) who were everyday in the years previously his meant existence. Paul had a challenge and a purpose, and prefer many different cult leaders, he made up a set of stuff and fooled mass quantities of persons into believing his new version of a properly-loved faith. He and his associates were given mutually and created the tale of Jesus. They took what they knew a lot of human beings already believed and easily repackaged it and said as it Christianity. Why do not i trust there's a god? properly, there's a god, yet i do no longer trust we've any sparkling connection with this god. If there's a god, he's both lifeless or does no longer favor to communicate with us. both way i do no longer choose this god in my existence to be happy. So I even haven't any reason to trust.

It is not easy to explain, but to a Cristian JC was the son of God, not the God.
He was born and dead as Jew and the roman emperor Constantino turn his way to get the old Jew's religion in Cristianism.
For this way , it is true what you say.

The main common denominator of every other religion in the world that has ever been or will ever be is man, reaching out for God.

ONLY Christianity believes that God also reaches down to man.

- Islam acknowledges the virgin birth if Jesus. However, they do not acknowledge Him a the Son of God. This view is completely illogical.

A virgin birth could only be accomplish by God.

- Also many confuse the Son of God (Jesus) with God The Father.

Because Jesus Christ is God.
It is written, only by the Holy Spirit, can you say Jesus is Lord.
What is the translation for the word Lord?

I think it's simply true by definition: if you believe that Jesus Christ is God, you're a Christian. If not, you're not. Right?

In essence, this question is like asking why only unmarried men are bachelors.

The path to righteousness is narrow and few find it. Jesus said that there was no other way to God except by Him.
