100% If I was ever sick or upset my cat would come and lay on me - he was never particulaly loving so it was really obvious - animals are very clever and extremley susseptable to feelings. xx

Yes. All my cats know when I am upset and react to it in different ways; some try to comfort me or cheer me up by rubbing against me or licking. Others sit by me or on my lap and purr to soothe me. And others will curl up and get upset themselves. But what is really sweet about them is how they will mourn the death of a loved one. When my ginger cat was killed by a car, his brother was really upset. Wouldn't eat for almost a week and kept sitting by the grave. Another cat had attached herself to my oldest; she loved that grandmother so much and, although she wasn't a kitten, she followed the granny cat around and cuddled up next to her every chance she got. When the granny cat died (they were not related by the way,) the young one mourned for a very long time.
I am sure everyone would agree that cats feel anger, fear and jealousy. So of course they feel contenment and happiness too. So why not some more emotions that most people think them incapable of? Grief, loss of confidence,
sympathy and empathy? They are very intelligent after all.
Besides they are very sensitive and so pick up on our moods by sensing our vibes. Some people might even say they can see or feel our auras.
Therefore, the more sensitive and intelligent the pet, the more tuned-in it will be to his carer. If it applies to dogs and cats and horses and pigs and elephants, don't see why it wouldn't apply to the smaller guys such as hamsters and rabbits too. They probably don't show it as obviously, that's all.
By the way, how about you? Do you know when your pet is upset?

Oh, absolutely. I've had a dog and I have a cat now, and they are both very sensitive to how I feel - not just the mood, but how I feel about a person who comes in the house. As soon as a person I don't trust crosses the threshold, he is nowhere to be seen; on the other hand, people I consider friends he is very sociable with.

The worst part of that sensing comes when I am restless. He becomes restless too, and the combination does nothing to calm me :) but we get over it, eventually.

Yes when mood swings occur there is a change in the chemical composition in your body. Adrenaline change affects the odour of a person to a certain level that dog cans pick up. Every mood triggers different chemical compounds to be released by the brain and it can be sensed by pets or animals. You might have heard of the wild animals that sense your fear. Fear in a person makes the brain releases some compounds and that is sensed by those animals.

Yes, they do. Every time I would lie on the floor for my exercise, my dog would come to lick my face and push his head under my neck as though as trying to make me get up because he thought I was sick or hurt or something. When we fought at home, he got really upset and hid behind the couch as though as we were angry with him. Pets are more intelligent than one would think... Too bad my dog died two months ago. I miss him so much :(((

Depends on the pet. Cats and dogs do, without a doubt. One of my neighbour's cats which has been trained to avoid people, made a fuss of me once as I sat on the back step, upset about something. Since, it has gone back to it's training. Good thing it avoids people incidentally, it has the most lovely fur.

Your bunnies will choose a house. lots of sparkling timber shavings interior the residing house, and hay to sleep on. you will get rabbit nutrition from the puppy keep. Pellets are the wonderful ones to get as they have each element in that bunnies would desire to maintain healthful. A water bottle that suits onto the twine somewhat than a bowl of water as this would tip over and circulate away your rabbits thirsty. Carrots are solid for bunnies yet lettuce will upset their tummies after which you've hassle with flys laying eggs on your rabbits bottoms. it is mandatory to scrub out the rabbits residing house daily. The moist shavings and champagne could be placed right into a composter. loose variety bunnies are super yet on condition which you have a closed in backyard. The y will run away to discover different bunnies to play with in case you do no longer keep them enclosed so a extreme high quality massive run (accessible from puppy shops) would be a solid theory. 2 boys at the same time is a robust element yet you would be able to would desire to have them neutered as they'd combat. The greater you cuddle your rabbits the greater friendly they are going to be. attempt and get them from a breeder somewhat than a keep because of fact the breeders understand their rabbits and look after them nicely.

Of course pets know when their owners are in pain or upset. But so do animals that are not pets. Cows whose babies are taken away for making "veal" obviously grieve over it. Many people eat such cows, unaware that the cow's feelings=chemistry are playing upon them.
