As long as there is fresh water available and she takes time at her bowl, then she should be fine. My dog will hop into the shower after we are out and lick up all the drops of water left in the tub even though we have water (and usually an ice cube or two) out for him. She may have not had the opportunity as a puppy to learn how to lap properly, so she's doing it how she thinks is right. She could also be afraid of the bowl. Try a different sized bowl or a different material (i.e. if you have a ceramic bowl, try a plastic one). Keep an eye on how much she urinates. If she isn't urinating, then there's a problem with her fluid intake. If there's a sudden change in the frequency or amount that she urinates this also indicates that there is a problem. Good luck!
