My parents died a while back and I was informed a couple days ago that my little sisters and brothers are being mistreated at this man's house. My youngest brother is ill, he has asthma. He lost his inhaler and now it's getting worst. My second yougest brother keeps getting hurt because of that man. All of my littles sisters and brothers are having trouble at this new place. I live at the other side from where they are. I don't know they're address. My 25 year old brother lost contact with them, he lost his license so he can't do anything now. I want to help, but I don't know what to do. all I know is that they live at the other side of where I am. And that's miles away. What do you think I should do?

Call the police and contact the Department of Social Services (in your phone book under your state's government listings). If they are being mistreated, DSS needs to know to rectify the situation. Tell them your plight and they are mandated to check it out.

Contact your local Child Protective Services offices and provide them with any information you have. Ask them to open an investigation and to conduct interviews with your siblings. That is what they are here for. They will investigate all charges of abuse or neglect.
