I have been using various eye drops from pharmacy and doctors. Never seem to work. Think the allergy is present in my bedroom. i do change my bedsheets. Does it got to do with the type of pillow or mattress?

It could be dust or dust mites. I would start by washing your sheets in hot water. Next buy an allergy cover for you pillow. If that doesn't work try a cover for your mattress. It is not uncommon to be allergic to dust mites that live in everyone's bed. Covers help a lot.

Allergies are a Reaction of your Imunesystem. Your Imunesytem is on High Alert during an Attack from Substances(Allergen) like Mold, Dust,Bacteria etc.
Eye drops alone will not help you. Seek the help of a Doctor which specialized in testing and treating Allergies.
Considering your Bedroom, if you have Carpet you might have to change to Floor only, their are Pillows ,Mattresses and Blankets special made for Allergies. If you have a cat or dog, do not let them in your Bedroom. You also could have Bed mites or Dust mites in Your Room

Sounds like it may be allergies. Change sheets often...use a little bleach in water. If you don't use too much and mix water well in tub you shouldn't discolor color sheets. I also tumble, without washing first, my pillows in dryer on high for a full cycle. (This works on feather pillows too...febreze and tumble). The heat shoudl kill any dust mites and the dryer has some suction and should draw out dead skin and etc.... Also vacuum your matress and room often. I strongly reccomend a Rainbow vacuum also for those that have indoor allergies...it's a water trap vacuum that also doubles as a air purifier when not in use. Dust cannot fly around once trapped in water. Also suction is unbelievable...and does not lose suction. Well worth the money!!!! No I do not sell them either. Own one and no longer need to use asthma inhalers on 3 yr old daughter unless she catches a cold. No longer use claritin for her or myself. We both ocasionally need to use nasonex when outdoor pollen counts get high. All the previously mentioned were used on a regular basis prior to owning this vacuum...the cost of prescriptions covers the monthly payment on the vacuum.

see if you're sheets/blankets are the culprit. i found out i'm allergic to synthetic materials. so i had to get rid of acrylic blankets and polyester sheets. usually allergies come from bedding and not the mattress. try all natural material for pillows (including the fill), pillow covers, sheets and blankets. many bedding products will say 'hypoallergenic'. also try vaccuming the mattress and the carpet. and you should really wash/change your bed sheets and mattress pad weekly.
oh, and i heard that dust mites thrive in a bed that has been made. dust mites live off human sweat and dead skin. a made up bed traps the sweat moisture which allows the mites to thrive and multiply. an unmade bed will allow the sweat moisture to evaporate which makes it harder for the dust mites to stay.
so the lesson is don't make your bed.

I tried getiing an allergan cover for the pillow, they sell them at Wal Mart it worked really god for me. Maybe your allergy is to dust and although you may keep the room clean dust can still get into the pillow
Before using the allergan cover I would either get a new pillow as well or wash the one you currently use in hot water
They also sell allergan covers for mattresses. I have one of those as well and now my allergies are not bad at all!

Try vacuuming your bed and pillow thoroughly!! Clean your room from top to bottom. Wash the wall and every thing. Try that and see if it helps. Then go from there. You could then precess a mattress and pillow cover if necessary. First just try to eliminate different things and see if you can find the answer your self. It still won't hurt too get the covers though. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kind of pillow do you have? If it is a feather pillow, try one of those hypoallergenic pillows. Try a mattress cover on your mattress to see if that is the problem. Did you change laundry detergents recently? It could be a reaction to the detergent.

There could be a number of reason, a major is usually the fan is on at nite and it makes your eyes tear up. Also (i'm assuming there a window in your bedroom) there could be mold and stuff along the window seal or anywhere for that matter. You could try changing detergents or something, if that would help but i don't know. Hope I helped.

It might. Try throwing your pillow in a dryer now and then to fluff it and knock allergens out, and vacuuming your matress. If tht doesn't work, get a new matress and pillow, and get hypoallergenic covers to go with them.

Good luck!
