Why does Some Muslims want everyone to convert to Islam....why is this?

I havent seen anyone in any religion who doesnt want others to feel how amazing it is. Islam in particular asks people to think before they act
especially when it comes to religion and why they should believe in it.. the muslims who would like to covert people to islam ask that of them, and if they're convinced then that's great, if they're not then God guide them to truth
it's not a major scheme to convert all people to islam, if that was the point then God would have created all people as muslims in the first place.. but the point is to think and understand what every religions points to, what people should believe in and so on

Muslims are not converting non muslims to Islam, But it is the non muslims them selves converting to Islam..You people call muslims killers thats wierd because it all started after 9/11 when u started blaming Islam for that, Tell me Hitler was a Christian he killed 60 million Jews would I blame christianity for it ? Similar to the reasons why Christians would love for everyone to be Christian, to share the Word of God and bask in His Beauty and be touched by His Mercy and Blessings.
Some Islamophobes (those who have a fear of the religion of Islam) will undoubtedly say something about converting everyone or killing them, or that all non-Muslims will go to hell, however the Quran says "Let there be no compulsion in religion" (Quran 2:256). In other words, God does not want sheep, He wants followers who love Him and praise Him because it is in their hearts and to know Him because they searched for His Truth, not because they are forced to do so. Islam gives this opportunity to all. It is our duty to spread the word of Islam, however it is left entirely up to the listener whether he wants to accept this way of life or remain just the way he is.
We have a saying in Islam to wish for our brother what we wish for ourselves, and when we do that we have attained true belief. I wish for you what I wish for myself, and I wish for myself the love and mercy of my Creator and Sustainor.

i was christian and i converted to islam for my husband and for i seen peace and happiness with islam. now i am a different person and i dont have to hide anything anymore. i think it was the best move that i made. wasnt beside anyone forced me to it was all me thats what i wanted to do

We believe that Islam is the truth. God sent Prophet Muhammad for all of Mankind. We want to be saved, and we want to save others from a grievious punishment. It is our duty to tell others what we know. It would be sinful to hide the truth from everyone. Infact, if we worshipped God all the time, but didn't preach to others, we would be deserving of punishment first before those who had no knowledge....

I guess its easier to convert them then kill all the infidels.They only have so many guns and knives.Since they are a religion of "peace"?
